Do footballers seriously have to be paid that much?

Well I don't know who made this trend but you have seen it..Athletes sucking people's money out by just playing and entertaining them even if they suck..NBA,NFL,Golf,Cricket and Football players end millions just in a blink of an eye and everything is provided for them..So people i would your views on whether you think footballers are getting paid to much this days and being spoilt..For me?..Well I think the pay that Stoke players get should be more suitable..Saves money and money saved means good financial background..

Look at Arsenal for example..They over price tickets for fans to watch crap,80 000 pounds max for players and manager doesn't spend a single pound(Literally)..And boom!..A great financial health...The beauty of saving and sucking money out of people and also making medical bills expensive for people because of the times they given them high blood pressure :D..Isn't those strategy brilliant? ^^..Anyway enough of hitting on them,So to the question..What do you guys think?..Leave a comment below :)

Premier League Headlines:9th May 2011

1)Blackburn defender Chris Samba could be on the move this summer after revealing he came close to joining Arsenal in January.

2)Gareth Bale is unlikely to play any part in the rest of Tottenham's season, manager Harry Redknapp said this morning. The Welshman had to be carried off in the second half Tottenham's 1-1 draw against Blackpool on Saturday thanks to a challenge by Charlie Adam.

3)Sir Alex Ferguson claimed it was "fantastic to be the most successful team in the country" after Manchester United's 2-1 win over Chelsea.

4)Carlo Ancelotti hopes he will be offered the opportunity to stay at Chelsea, but knows the decision is out of his hands.

5)Ryan Giggs believes Javier Hernandez deserves all the praise he is receiving for a magnificent debut season at Manchester United.

6)Arsenal great Emmanuel Petit believes his former club are crying out for a "big leader" to end a six year trophy drought. And well he was right,7 days later..Arsenal produced a display which certainly needed a leader to sought the team out on field

7)Arsenal full-back Bacary Sagna would understand if Cesc Fabregas left the Gunners in search of silverware this summer. This is the 6th season without title after Arsenal lost to stoke this week to end all chance of a fight for the title.

8)Real Madrid are hoping to get one over Barcelona with a £35million bid for Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas which slightly more then Barcelona offered a few months back.

9)Neil Warnock was in tears at the news his Queens Park Rangers side could finally celebrate promotion to the Barclays Premier League.

10)Kenny Dalglish reckons Liverpool have shattered the myth they are a two-man team.It seems like Dalglish has transformed Liverpool to a capable mean machine. Gone are the days when the Reds used to struggle for goals if Fernando Torres or Steven Gerrard were absent

Paul the octopus Ollie predict Chelsea to be champions

Following his late cousin's remarkable feat which would even impress David Blaine where he predicted Chelsea to be champions this season...This decision was made way back in 2010 where many people disagreed with it's decision as Chelsea had a disastrous pre season followed by a bad spell midway through the season but have fought back well to be second in the final run so Paul's couzy could pretty much be right after all..Paul would be certainly jealous with Ollie if it was true...Keeping the family's tradition burning eh? :)

So yeah people, here's a innocent tip from me..Book a baby octopus that has some relation to this octopus and get ready to make some big cash ;)...Anyway abit about Ollie now,He was born in the same aquarium with Paul as we all know before the were separated with Paul sadly leaving to Germany to enjoy some frankfurter sausages. And did you guys know that Ollie is named after Blackpool's boss Ian Holloway?..I have no clue why they did that but i'm pretty sure Ian Holloway is going to get some heavy bucks if the prediction comes true lol...While cousin Paul preferred mussels, Ollie makes his selection by choosing one of four containers each holding a piece of his favorite food, mackerel.Nothing new here,my brother and me are the same! Way different taste in food..Well of course my taste is way better then him XD..Oh and he was signed by Sun paper..They better give him a good deal!

Lol while people betters are celebrating that this could be the second coming of Paul..Bookies won't be to happy as they lost a packet during the world cup as most betters did follow Paul's advice..Haha!!

Anyway besides predicting the champions this season,he also predicted as the following:

WAYNE ROONEY of Man U will recover from his World Cup flop to be top scorer-Don't think it will be possible now as his not even in the top 10 scorers list if only he goes on a 'not human streak or play like those supa strikas cartoon characters :D'

WOLVES will finish bottom, not bookies favorites Blackpool;-Either team could still finish bottom so Ollie could get this right..Haha going against the club which gave him his name..Betrayer!

MAN CITY'S Roberto Mancini will be the first manager sacked-It will be stupid if those Arabs do sack him now..4th or possibly 3rd isn't that bad :)

SPURS will lose on the opening day today-Well they gave Man City a run for their money and it ended stalemate

 That's all for now people

A part of Dailymail I found intresting

I was going through Dailymail online site and found this fairly interesting survey. What really surprised was the amount of defenders who got the top spot as the fastest man for their clubs which includes Richard Stearman of Wolves,Manuel Da Costa of West Ham,Gary Cahill of Bolton and Chris Smalling of Man Utd.Gosh where have those days of strikers easily beating defenders in speed?..Well guess things gotta change someday..Feel sorry for the strikers lol..Especially the slow one's..Being outpaced by a defender?..Embarrasing!!! DAMN! :p

Anyway another interesting stat was all the way the top of the list where not Nasri,Walcott,Sagna nor Clichy made it but it's young prodigy Jack Wilshire you makes it into the list and the slowest is is new signing Koschielky which should explain why Arsenal can't cope with fast attackers :)..

Arsenal a side still to be feared?

Remember those days where the name 'Arsenal Fc' stuck a fear into every living soul in the premier league and even humbled those who stood up to them?..Remember when we were absolutely sure they would beat teams out of the top 4?Remember not worrying if they went a goal behind? Well that was the invincibles for you..The name of Robert Pires,Thierry Henry,Fredrik Ljunberg and others just gave us our money and time worth just watching them..

ut since the disappearance of that golden generation(Clichy,Van persie and Lehmann the only current players from that squad) are Arsenal a side still to be feared anymore?..Emirates stadium haven't celebrated a single success since replacing the history filled Highbury stadium which probably would make get those supersitious people thinking 'what if we didn't leave, would things be different'..Well possibly but with a side which has clearly been replaced with plastic instead of Steel has lost it's golden touch ever since the golden generation left..

No denying the fact that young players could add more stamina to the side but was it to stupid just to release all the oldies at once?..With an average side of only 24 years old..This current philosophy which i deem stupid if your playing in a top league where teams don't give a damn even if your a teenager...Arsene has to act fast and not become a stubborn little kid..Doesn't mean his a El professor in this field means he shouldn't listen to anybody..

Placing a keeper who went out on loan in a second division side?..Defender who just 2 seasons ago was playing in a 4th division side in France?...In positions in what are literally a foundation of a team? That's crazy talk!I wouldn't have any problems if this was the Championship but this is the Premier league for crying out and in league deemed the top 4 best in the world it's obvious you would need serious experience..Look at Man Utd for example, they have a great mixture of experience chumps and young kids in the team,Chelsea no different and even the best club in the World Barcelona do it..So why Arsenal should be different if it's not reaping fruits?

And to justify my thoughts, they lost to a side who have been having a few up and downs in the league in the form of Stoke.A side which they could have comfortable beaten but found their end of a defeat..Lack of defence steel and bad passing the culprit again and Not doing anything?...I feel sorry for those paying over priced tickets just to watch crap..Looks like the talk of the premier league and most feared side(the other Man Utd who are still on fire) are long forgotten...

Anyway here's a few pics to bring back memories of the best in the Arsenal business :)

Big question:Drogba or Torres Today?

A very big big question which will either break or push Chelsea to glory...Is it Drogba or Torres to lead the Chelsea Attacking force?..I don't believe Chelsea should chance their tactics to 4-4-2 just to put those two strikers cause as seen in numerous times before,Drogba just doesn't seem to fit in well with a another bugger beside him(Not including Anelka)...

I believe they should stick with their 4-3-3 formation and to carry on with the momentum they have established, it should be Drogba starting next to Malouda and Kalou with Torres to come off the bench. Now that's nothing against Torres, but for me it's important that Chelsea keep their current run going and at the moment.

But that's just my opinion..Would love to have you people's opinions :)

Who will be 2010/2011 premier league Champions?

Short and simple..I want your views people!..Between Man Utd,Chelsea and Arsenal who are still mathematically in..Which clubs among the three that you got your bet on to Win..

Man Utd
Edwin van der SarSir Alex FergusonRio Ferdinand celebrates after Wayne Rooney's goal at Stamford BridgeProving that a mix of Oldies and youngsters is a perfect combination in football this days.Would have won it by now already if not for the tons of draws they dished out.But steadily like all the other seasons, got better as the season went out and now the best bet to win the league as but still got Chelsea who are in the fight out of nowhere just 3 points behind them...

Chelsea
Chelsea Football Club
Just about a month or two ago, they were written off with only Arsenal and Man utd fighting for the title as Chelsea had a very bad spell in the middle of the season somewhere around December 2010 to February 2011 after a great start to the season which many said was not due to the teams they faced with..But with an incredible of 4 straight wins..Their back in it with only three points separating them and Man Utd

Arsenal
Arsenal.com
Inexperience and lack of strong mentality, psychically and basically without any leader with the absence of Vermaelen..Arsenal still managed to do well the whole season but like i said..Inexperience soon took over in the later stages together the big mouth of the manager..And what seemed like a chance to challenge for a quadruple ended all in a month.A team who are known for beautiful football and attacking prowess..Sometimes beautiful football can't bring you success.Ditched out great results against big guns but blew their chances against lower ranked teams thus blowing a kazillion of chances to hit top of the table and April being a very gloomy month with a win in 5 games..Defence has also been questioned as they are known to panic in late stages of games as Djourou was actually the only fit first team quality defender as new signings Squallaci and Koschielny not really confident at the back..Still with a chance although a big big miracle is needed to win the league

Who's going down?

As we enter the last four games of the Premier League season everyone is trying to predict the future results and what the final league table might look like. I have to say that having had a go for myself, and with 9 points separating from bottom and 14th spot..Won't be surprise if teams that didn't even touch relegation zone this season get relegated.

There will always be unexpected results in the run in – Wigan’s survival on the final day at Bramall Lane in 2007 is a case in point or West Brom escape in the 2004/2005 season which is globally known now as the 'great escape'. Managers, players, referees and linesmen will inevitably make mistakes when under pressure and luck will no doubt play its part.Talking about the bottom, the top of the table is even harder as fans atmosphere hits a new height and managers and players screaming at you knowing you are the one in charged between relegating and naming a new champion.Referee couldn't have asked for a harder job in this run in..

The abilities of the teams near the bottom are quite evenly matched with determination and never say die attitude coming in play and it may well be that ultimately goal difference decides who goes down.So it is practically impossible to predict the final outcome. It is much easier to say who I would like to see relegated instead cause i got to admit i myself got no confidence in any betting or prediction whatsoever now. That's just the beautiful part of Football :)..

WEST HAM UNITED

The most obvious candidate from my point of view is West Ham United who gone through a patchy form during the whole season. West ham much known for the injustice which was experienced by Sheffield United because West Ham did not get a points deduction for fielding ineligible players Tevez and Mascherano still sticks in the craw. Following various court cases West Ham agreed to pay compensation to Sheffield United of between £15 and £25 million but it didn't matter as Sheffield already lost their Premier league status and speaking about Sheffield United. They are currently on the verge of being relegated to first division from the coca cola championship.

West Ham United 1 Blackburn Rovers 1: match report

Although West Ham may have a strong football tradition, their recent history has been characterised by financial mismanagement and some rather shady dealings, for example with the Icelandic owner Eggert Magnusson and the football agent Kia Joorabchian. The current owners Sullivan and Gold made their money in the sex industry having moved from Birmingham City in 2010. During their time at Birmingham Sullivan and Birmingham managing director Karren Brady were released on bail after being arrested and questioned on suspicion of conspiracy to defraud and false accounting in connection with an ongoing investigation of alleged corruption in English football, although the charges were subsequently dropped.

WOLVERHAMPTON UNITED

Well let's see who else who would face the drop,I would go for Wolves although the likes Of football pundits like Shearer and Lineker who seem to be in love with Mick that they feel it will be rather harsh if they did go down.Well It's true thought, results have not been to friendly with Wolves with numerous times this season having conceded late late goals for example against Man utd with literally seconds in the game left.Although being able to get results at times against big sides but record against lower teams have been poor.

Wigan have outplayed them twice this season and the match at Molineux was particularly one-sided. McCarthy likes the direct approach which can on occasions can produce results, but against us it was clear that Wigan’s passing game was superior and surely this has to be how the game should be played both now and in the future.Wolves still have a chance though if they do win all their remaining matches, they would need the likes Of Jarvis and Doyle to create something huge.

BLACKPOOL

Another team on my list is Blackpool,a surprise package at the start of the season by playing that beautiful kind of football which normally can only be seen by seasoned top flight teams.Making their first ever appearance in the Barclays premier league since the inception in 1992 with their last appearance in top flight taking them all the way back to 1971..With a manager who seemed calibred enough as he took the club to top flight in only his first season and holding the record for being the only club in English football to be promoted through all four divisions via the play-offs.The team looked set to take the premier league by storm..For the first few months though..

With amazing feats against Wigan followed by Newcastle and English giants Liverpool, things did look interesting but like most seasons where newly promoted sides did well at the first half of the season and falter..Blackpool didn't surprise as their last superb performance and win takes us all the way back to February where they defeated spurs in which they drew with last night and till then 5 losts and 3 defeats have been recorded.Although a place above relegation zone but only Goal difference separate them between Wigan

BIRMINGHAM CITY

Another team which i have singled out is Birmingham City,Shocked football in England with a brilliant win against Arsenal in the Carling cup to win a very priceless domestic cup.but their dour style does not make them an attractive team to watch. Only Fulham have drawn more matches this season. Alex McLeish’s team are hard to beat because of their hard physical approach to the game, but with players like Lee Bowyer, who has an awful disciplinary record, they will win never win many friends.

It is not easy to like a team whose bluenose supporters have a reputation for bad behaviour. During the game at the DW stadium earlier in the season the Wigan goalkeeper Ali Al Habsi was showered with missiles from behind the goal and after the game some Birmingham supporters threw bricks and coins at Wigan supporters as they crossed the canal bridge. Most clubs seem to have a bad element amongst their support, but Birmingham seem to have more than most. These idiots don’t deserve to have a club in the Premier League.

Monthly Awards- Barclays Premier League- April 2011

Coming into the final month of the season, this is the time when every match is seen as a cup final and the pressure surrounding every 90-minutes becomes increasingly intense. However, this pressure is what we live for, these are the true season defining moments which present the opportunity to claim silverware, and if there was any person (or club) best prepared to handle the pressure, it is Fergie and his Red Army.

The monthly awards have been implemented to purely hypothetically reward the players and managers who have exceeded expectation and performed admirably in the month of April.

Team of the Month:

The Contenders:

Chelsea

They are top of the form guide, with 5 wins and 1 draw, amassing 16 points from the 18 available. Their change in form could not have come at a better time, as Arsenal seem to have buckled under the pressure; the Blues have now become United’s main title rivals as the season comes to a close. It is also some welcome relief for their constantly under fire manager, Carlo Ancelotti, who seems resigned to losing his job in the summer.

Liverpool

With a seemingly depleted and injury-hit squad, Liverpool have come of age under manager Kenny Dalglish and managed to defy the odds to produce the results. They have collected 13 points on offer, with 4 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss in their last 6 games. Youngsters such as Jay Spearing, John Flanagan and Jack Robinson have done well when called upon in the absence of the big names. Dirk Kuyt has added goals to his tireless work ethic and the ever reliable Reina has provided the stability between the sticks. Liverpool fans will be ecstatic with their teams log position considering the season they have had.

Manchester United

After losing to both Liverpool and Chelsea, the words “wobble” and “collapse” were frequently used to try and derail Fergie’s Red Army. However, experience has once again come to the fore, which has seen the Red Devils recover their form at the most crucial time of the season. The recent win over Everton, with the goal coming from signing of the season, Chicharito, could prove the Macheda-type inspiration which gives United that final push going into crunch games against Arsenal and Chelsea.

Man City

A very decent month of the Side boosted by a money making machine from Dubai..Although humbled by Liverpool 3-0 which was their only lost of the month..The highlight has to be the match against their neighboring rivals Man Utd where Yaya Toure's solitary goal booked their spot in the Fa cup final and also a superb chance of ending their 35 year drought of not winning a single title followed by the other two games in where the trashed Sunderland at the starting of the month and a vital win against a determined Blackburn side at the end of the month to confined their 4th spot and a chance of CL next season

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger defends France coach Laurent Blanc over racism scandal

Time for him to go perhaps?
