Another stunning week which was made even better with every team scoring for the first time in the league to record an amazing 41 goals scored which also includes the 7:1 trashing of Man Utd On Blackburn and West Brom's great 4:1 result away to Everton with Brunt scoring possibly the goal of the season in it..So it was a pretty good week for English football...Anyway here's my team of the week...
GK:Richard Kingson(Blackpool)-He did well enough to deputizes for the injured Gilks,Came to prominence in the world Cup for Ghana in which before he was literally unknown and wasn't a first team choice keeper for previous teams in England. But this performance will definitely givr assurance to his manager that he has the quality to replace Gilks anytime.Although that two goals conceded was unsavable...
RB:Rafael Da Silva(Man Utd)-He is starting to prove his worth to the club just in time as the Aging Gary Neville seems to be reaching his twilight years of his football career.Another great performance this week in where he kept the fast paced Diouf quiet and also was at hand of the fourth goal for Berbatov...
CB:Kevin Foley(Wolverhampton Utd)-Put his side ahead in the 50th minute and helped Wanderers claim a crucial 3-2 win over Sunderland. An indispensable defender for the Wolves side as he gives some balance to the team...
CB:Ryan Shawcross(Stoke)-Another Defender who is currently improving and notching up
Consistent performances for his club stopping strikers at bay and this time it was Man City's hitman Carlos Tevez being his latest Victim.
RW:Nani(Man Utd)-He tormented the Blackburn Defence with his slickly skills,A real contributer to Berbatov's goals and also had a go to get a goal for himself.A very good solid performance from this guy who seems to be able to replace Ronaldo...
CM:Ciaran Clark(Aston Villa)-Scored two goals in which was also his first goals for the club.He gave Aston Villa any hope of making his comeback but his performance was not enough to lift up the whole team who didn't seem to be in the match.
CM:Scott Parker(West Ham)-I think his the main player in Any hope of West Ham staying up as his leadership is clearly the only reason they are actually producing anything. He scored the third goal for the team to record their second win at home this edition...
LW:Samir Nasri(Arsenal)-He goal scoring record and performances continued for Arsenal as he massively contributed to Arsenal's superior game last weekend. He even scored a goal for himself and could have added more if he did take the chances...
FW:Dimitar Berbatov(Man Utd)-The best player in the whole league this week,He made an incredible feat to break his barren run of 10 games without a goal and did it with style of entering the record books with 5 goals to be only the 4th player to do in the premier league...
FW:Maroune Chamakah(Arsenal)-His fine run in his first season continued with a goal and also a last minute assist to cap of a good weekend for him at work...
