Premier league Preview Saturday games and predictions 4th December 2010

Arsenal Vs Fulham

Arsenal will once again play at home which should be a great thing but lately it seems that Playing away seems to be more preffered by the fans as lately their home form has dropped tremendously Considering it used to be a fortress for them. With already 2 straight losses at home, they certainly wouldn't want to break record of recording a third lost which took them about 34 seasons ago.Arsenal will still be without talisman Cesc Fabregas who's still out with a hamstring and Rosicky is once again expected to take his place. With the rest of the squad being the same side like always,Fulham's Carlos Salcido, who was injured early in the 1-1 draw with Birmingham, and Stephen Kelly and John Pantsil are on standby. Andrew Johnson is also a doubt, while Rafik Halliche, Moussa Dembele, Philippe Senderos, Bobby Zamora and Fredrik Stoor are missing.
Fulham beating Arsenal look slim as they have NEVER EVER beaten the side away in 23 meetings which takes them back all the way to 1914 plus Fulham lost against the same side both 1-0 at home and a 4-0 trashing on the last day(Remembered Vela scoring his first goal for the season)...But with Arsenal's Home form anything can happen,But still Arsenal for the win so it's a 2-1 win for Arsenal...

Birmingham Vs Tottenham Hotspur

Last season Liam Ridgewell stole a last minute equaliser for Birmingham after Jermain Defoe had given Spurs a 69th minute advantage. It is a trick well known by Spurs; they have won 16 points this season from losing positions, including their last two games, at Arsenal (2-0 down, won 4-2) and at home to Liverpool (1-0 down, won 2-1).Spurs, though, will hope they do not win a penalty; they have missed four this season, all at home, with Defoe the latest culprit against Liverpool.Gareth Bale, Rafael van der Vaart and Roman Pavlyuchenko have also missed from the spot this season.
Spurs arrive at St Andrew’s having won their last four games including their last three in the Premier League, their best sequence since March, when they won the fifth of five games in succession.Tottenham need to improve away from home. They have won 15 of their 25 games at White Hart Lane. But Alex McLeish’s side are strong at home, with just one defeat in their last 22 games at St Andrew’s.On Wednesday, Birmingham reached the semi-finals of the Carling Cup with a 2-1 win over neighbours Aston Villa.
Nikola Zigic scored the winner and Alex McLeish must decide whether to start with him again in a 4-4-2 formation or return to a 4-4-1-1 line-up, with Cameron Jerome the lone striker.Craig Gardner, missing recently with an ankle problem, returned as a substitute on Wednesday, and could be considered for a start.Spurs are without Younes Kaboul and Rafael van der Vaart after the pair were injured last Sunday. They are joined on the sidelines by Ledley King, Tom Huddlestone, Jamie O’Hara and Jonathan Woodgate. But Michael Dawson could be available for the first time since September while there are tests for David Bentley, Giovani dos Santos, Jermaine Jenas and Robbie Keane..Nevertheless,Birmingham have caused shocks this season and I believe they can cause another one on Saturday with a 1:0 Win for the Men In blue...

Blackburn Rovers Vs Wolves

Blackburn were the next victims to suffer a basket of goals in their net last week as a World class performance by Dimitar Berbatov catapulted the team to a 7-1 trashing to MU.This week around they should be slightly relieve as they battle out against a struggling Wolves side at Home which has been a fortress for them lately with already 2 straight wins.More good news is that they will introduce back the Likes Of Morten Gamst Pedersen who was fortunate to miss that hapless night.Mame Biram Diouf too as he was not allowed to play against his parent club too last week.Wolves bouyed by a great win Against Sunderland last week will be hoping to get a good result this week too...But I'm going with Blackburn who seem to have a more decent squad...2-0 win for me...

Man City Vs Bolton Wanderers

There has been a real interesting uniform between this team with Of the nine meetings the first three were won by City, then Bolton won on their next three visits. But City have won the last three. In Stats view, overall City have the upper hand; in 54 League games in Manchester, City have won 31 and lost 13.Man City though haven't really been scoring at home and with an in form Bolton been their visitors this week,I expect this to be a real tough interesting match with the teams placed 4th and 6th respectively.City have lost just once, but they have scored only seven goals in seven games; only Wigan have scored fewer. With ten in their last three games including a 5th match unbeaten run. It's going to be close,So 1-0 win for Man City...

Wigan Vs Stoke

Wigan have to start getting results as they started the game in the regelation zone against Stoke who are very much safe at 8th spot. With only one win in six and the worst home scoring record in the division, Wigan are going to have to learn how to collect three points, even if at times it isn't under the prettiest of circumstances - something that is arguably their opponents' greatest attribute who have already gone through a 4 match unbeaten run and hoping to make 5 against the Latics.Wigan will have it tough getting goals with Di santo out and key player Rodallega suspended..Moses dislocated his shoulder in their mid week lost to Arsenal in the League Cup.We might see Stoke having a new right winger this week with Pennant and Wilkinson both out.Wigan home advantage might be a factor so i'm going with a 1-1 draw...
