Player and Manager of the Month (Nov 2010)

Johan Elmander has been rewarded for his good performances

It was a great month for Bolton which made them one of the surprise packages in the lead as a run of Great performances took them up to 4th place for a moment ahead of City!..And this wasn't overlooked by The premier league Committee as Bolton swept both awards with Elmander who has formed a formidable partnership with Kevin Davies snatched the award with a great month of silky goals. While Coyle seemed to have planted his philosophy perfectly into this team which just last season were struggling for survival.

Striker Elmander has found his feet in English football under the management of Coyle and his Barclays Player of the Month award is also a career first. The imposing Swede scored three goals and created another three in November, including a skillful solo effort in the 3-2 win at Wolverhampton Wanderers. And has already scored 8 goals this season alone thus overtaking his tally in the 2 years his been there. But he might not be there long with Liverpool look set to grab him on a free transfer as his contract looks set to end next year.

While Owen Coyle managed them to an amazing month starting off with a 4-2 win over Tottenham Hotspurs,Followed by a 1-1 draw Against Everton before another win this time against Wolves with a 3-2 win before and not forgetting last week's comeback from 2 goals down against Blackpool to level it.I don't think the panel really had a hard time making a result...Congrats to Owen Coyle,Johan Elmander and the whole Bolton team.
