Premier league Preview Sunday and Monday games and predictions 5/6 Dec 2010

West Brom Vs Newcastle

Both teams are coming back with high confidence from last week with Newcastle holding out Chelsea to a 1-1 draw while West Brom causing a stir at Goodison park with a great win.Last week's goalscorer Chris Burnt looks doubtful though while Peter Odemwingie and Paul Scharner are out with knee injuries. James Morrison has a back injury and Nicky Shorey is recovering from illness for West Brom.
For Newcastle they got better news as Joey Barton returns for Newcastle after serving a three match ban. The midfielder received a red card after he punched Morten Gamst Pederson during their fixture with Blackburn. Fabricio Coloccini and Mike Williamson recently signed long term contracts with the club but are out though, both players are serving the second game of their three match ban. While Captain Kevin Nolan is sidelined with an ankle problem...I think it's going to be a west brom win although Newcastle has also shown some quality lately,But West Brom have been good at home so a 2-0 win for the Hawthorns...

Sunderland Vs West Ham Utd

A revived West ham come back from an amazing 7 goals in a week with a valuable win against fellow struggles Wigan in the premier league to keep up the chase to st free from the zone and the Man Utd trashing a particular highlight to reach the semi finals of the league cup,Sunderland a slightly different story though as although they have proven their class..Didn't show against a side struggling for even some cushion as they crashed down to a shock 3-2 defeat to Wolves.I think it's going to be a draw,West Ham having shown some revival and if they do countinue to show...Then yeah,it's possible it will end up 2-2...

MONDAY 6/12/10

Liverpool vs Aston Villa

It will be an emotional return for former boss Gerard Houllier to Anfield which i really expect a great reception after guiding the team to great amount of success.Liverpool once again showed their defence frailties against Tottenham last week as they lost the game after being the lead.Although i could say they did well considered to the other games before even without Stevie G.Aston Villa should cause some problems to the team with a young looking side full of pace but If Liverpool do put the pressure on them then it looks all over for the villians as i don't believe the team's inexperience will defeat the Kops who should field some good number of youngsters too but without Jamie Carragher it would seem possible as they themselves look frail in the defence. But Liverpool should win it,Even with their form and also home form has looked pretty good so It's a 1-0 win for me!
