Review of second day of week 5 Matches(Europa League)

Another day of pure excitement(As usual)...And again i can't really talk about every team because it will be magical if i could have watched it all(I only watched 1) but the games i watched certainly did impact me that the Europa league is just as competitive their main sister 'the Champions league'...We again saw snow in some matches which caused some problems with players but that's the part and parcel of the game.Good thing that the games i watched didn't snow so i was lucky to watch top class football haha..To the review anyway...

In group D,Villareal easily disposed off Dinamo Zagreb by 3 goals to none with Guiseppe Rossi scoring two to send the Spanish Giants to the next round of 32.The match between PAOK And Club Brugge ended with all both teams sharing the spoils as a late strike by Brugge's youngster Scepovic with a minute left to force PAOK to wait till the next game where they only need a draw to advance.

In Group E,Both AZ And Sheriff both fought out in in vain as their draw with each other was not enough for them to stay in the competition after the other match between Dynamo Kyiv and BATE Borisov ended with Dynamo winning it 4-1

In Group F,Cska Moscow Continued their stunning record in the Cup by scoring a minimum of 3 goals in every game and in this time around Lausanne had to taste a high scoring defeat again when they were trashed 5-1.Sparta Praha had to come back twice against Palermo before holding out for a valuable point that sends them through.....

In Group J,Dortmund were handed a lifeline as their 3:0 Win against Karpaty coupled with a win for PSG Against Sevilla takes the tie right to the end in where Dortmund and Sevilla will battle it out for a qualifying spot in the last match of the competition in the group stages...The PSG And Sevilla game was the only match i saw and i was privileged to see the game and I guess the only i watched was satisfying as both teams look to go forward all the time and playing some fine football and importantly...Free scoring!...there were 5 goals in the first half with Sevilla coming from 2-0 down to level it before going down 3-2 before the break. But the next tie was exciting too but the teams couldn't find the net with only a goal by Horoau.PSG will be sad though to have lost their 8 match non conceded record at home.

Group K ended with all teams getting a point,First match was also another high scoring match of the week As Both Utrect and Napoli both settling for a 3-3 draw with Cavani's hat trick not enough for a win but enough for a comeback from 3-1 down...The other match was between former champions league champions against Steaua which was a 1-1 draw but The point was enough for the English team to go through and the Counterparts looks the best bet to go through with them...

In group L,Besiktas end any hopes of Sofia to go through after defeating them by 2 goals to 1 to send the Turkish giants through And they will be joined by Porto who defeated Rapid Wein by 3 goals to 1 which was helped by a stunning hat trick by Falcao to shoot up to the top scorers standings...

REVIEW OF ENGLISH CLUBS!

Both Liverpool and Man City both did well to qualify in convincing style with a game left to play with Man City winning in convincing style while Liverpool letting in a soft goal through Reinda for a draw.So good to see English clubs continuing their tradition of always having a team representing in the knockout stages...Well It's simply Barclays premier league!..Best league in the planet!(People say) ;)
