Team of the week(4rd Week)

Team of the week time! After some research of the performances of the players! I have come up with the list of the team of the week in this fourth week of The premier league!...Hope you like it,Leave a comment! :D

GK:Pepe Reina(Liverpool)-Liverpool would have already recorded another Defeat to start of yet another uninspiring season but thanks to this Spanish keeper who proved why his so expensive in the market with another Marvelous display with about three world class saves or more if I've not Mistaken..A Worthy goalkeeper Arsenal should have gotten,Those mariachis Would be some happy musicians tonight ;)
Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina, who recently signed a new six-year contract with the club.
DF:Roger Johnson(Birmingham City)-I was really impressed with this lad,He hardly gave El Nino AKA Fernando Torres even a sniff at goal or should i say 'look'.He was solid together with his fellow teammates at the back to once again end another uninspiring day for Liverpool who in fact as said,Could have lost!

DF:John Terry(Chelsea)-Like Always, showed his bravery to get into tackles just for the team. And it was no different at Upton Park.As he put his body and soul(To deep) On the line to keep the Much pitiful West ham At bay.And because of that,He was doubtful For the Champions league match Against Zillina Last night,But who cares?..Well at least one Defender should .Whoever that took his place should know it ;)
John Terry

RB:Kieren Gibbs(Arsenal)-Good Showing but this Youngster for Arsenal Last weekend,Proving he has the credibility of matching Gael Clichy one day!
Kieran Gibbs
LB:John O Shea(Man Utd)-Constantly proving his worth in the squad for Man Utd.There were other good one's last week. But i can't seem to not include him this time around in the team!
http://cronaldo-manutd.maakjestart.nl/images/john_o_shea.jpg
LW:Charlie Adam(Blackpool)-His definitely making his presence known in the Premier league for Blackpool with an incredible performance against a much decorated side like Aston villa during the weekend. With a goal and an assist,Ian Holloway couldn't have asked for a better performance by this Scottish man!

http://sportige.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/CharlieAdam.jpg

RW:Nani(Man Utd)-What else can i say,He perform last week..And again this week..Much more can i say?..He gave a torrid time at the Wing, prove from his Great two crosses that led to two great goals!.Next Ronaldo Perhaps?

http://soccerphotosbase.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/Nani-MU.jpg
CM-Michael Essien(Chelsea)-His like a new signing..wait!,Better then a new signing!..After a long lay off with a broken leg last season which pretty much kept him out for more then half of the season! His coming back to Chelsea With a bang,All that 24 million pounds ain't going to waste after all. This is for sure great news for Chelsea as they don't have to think of getting a new midfielder...For now!..With 2 goals against West ham to propel Chelsea to A 3:1 Win.It would be no good justice if his not in.

http://www.africasoccernet.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Michael-Essien.jpg

CM:Cesc Fabregas(Arsenal)-His first two games for Arsenal Was Worrying with Rumors spreading that it was his way of showing his Anger of now Getting to Join Barcelona,But oh well,FALSE ALARM..! He controlled the midfield this week,Assisting three of Arsenal's Four Goals to cap yet another Sizzling display and the reason why Arsenal Wanted him to stay so badly.he offered the type of dazzling performance which further cements the young Spaniard as one of Europe's top midfielders. He And Essien Would go well together! :D

http://soccernuts.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/Cesc_Fabregas_551406a.jpg

FW:Carlos Vela(Arsenal)-He doesn't seem to be ever give up on pleasing Arsene Wenger as once again he came of the bench to score Arsenal's Fourth and final goal.FYI,He scored 2 goals yesterday against Braga in the Champions League.Looks like Bendtner place is on the balance now,He has some competition!..Finally!
http://arsenalyouth.files.wordpress.com/2008/02/cvela1.jpg
FW:Moussa Dembele(Fulham)-Looks to have Adapted well to The Psychical side of the Premier League. This would be great news for Fulham that already have lost talisman Bobby Zamora through a broken leg which well set him out for about 6 months. He Did Amazingly To grab two goals in his first start in the premier league which ultimately brought Them from behind To win Against a Wolves side! Great Contribution to earn him a spot in the team of the week!http://acmilan.ge/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/moussa_dembele_766620a.jpg

Well that was my selection,What do you guys think?..Leave a comment or anything if you think that other players deserve to be in the team.

Group Stages Update Of The Uefa Champions League(1st Set of Games)

It was an exciting Day 1 Of the Uefa Champions league for the Elite of Europe,With last Season's Semi Finalist's Barcelona stepping up their game to trash Panathinaikos by 5 goals to 1In Group D. But it wasn't good news For The reigning champions as they were duly Held By Belgium side Twente 2:2 In Group A(So That means all of Group A Members are leveled on points now).It Also wasn't A great day for all English clubs As Tottenham who were close to a marvelous win against Werder Bremen let slip a two goal cushion to be held in their Debut in the cup in Group A.And Man Utd Also being held In a boring draw between Rangers without a single goal!...But Arsenal did Justice to the English Section with a fantastic Win against Braga by recording the Biggest Scoreline of the 2 days with a 6:0 Annihilation And Chelsea Beating Zilina in an Expected match by 4 goals to 1..Elsewhere there were wins for Lyon and Benfica in Group B,Valencia move top of Group c with a 4:0 Trashing of Turkish club Bursaspor.Cluj made all thier experience in the Champions league last year worthwhile with a good 2:1 win over a Basel who is considered on par with them in E while last year;s runner up's Bayern Settling off Roma in the same group. And The most shocking result had to be in Group f Where Spartak Moscow settled off Marseille by a single goal.In group G,As Expected Real Madrid And Ac Milan beat Ajax And Auxerre Respectively. While,Shaktar Donetsk are level on points with arsenal after beating Partizan by a goal themselves in the last group(H)..

So Overall a Mix Result from the English Clubs,Tottenham if they countinued to pushed like how they did in the First half they probably would have been up there on top already in what should have been a dream Start.Well for Man Utd,They couldn't start a fresh after that mental draining draw against Everton where they let slip a win that was technically in the bag plus they horror injury of their influential Valencia wouldn't be a good welcome.Good thing That Chelsea And Arsenal were on their Stylish self's to at least give some smiles to the English Football department With empatic wins,For Arsenal. It Seems Cecs Is finally getting his form back and Vela could pretty well be in the first team soon enough after scoring 2 goals in the Game together With Cesc Fabregas adding on to his goal against Bolton in the weekend,Chamakh seems to be doing well himself too.Chelsea Seem to not even lay a mistake since the start of the league with a confident win as Anelka who has been ban by the French national team would certainly give a though of two about taking away the ban with a good comeback of Two goals and Essien seems to be next lampard as again he scored while Sturridge certainly should ease the burden on Anelka And Drogba(Who didn't play)..So next Stop is the Shadow of Chelsea..Man City this weekend,Expecting it to be a absolute cracker of a game

~UPDATE~Next games will be played on the 28th and 29th of September

Results from the Fourth Week of the premier league

Well,Chelsea once again showing a master class show to beat West ham who you got to feel pity for them by 3 Goals to 1! But that was an expected results...Now to the not so expected results!...MAN CITY!..The Team that spend over 120 Million hoping to be next Chelsea once again Failed to perform this time in the Form Of playing against Blackburn!...Not that expecting to see,After seeing them bolster their quad with a world class team...The other one was probably Stoke scoring a late Stoppage time winner beating Aston Villa who just got their New Manager Gerard Houllier signed but wasn't operational for that match!...Well looks like he has found the problem,And he can start from there :)..Liverpool seem to be not improving! With Sunday's performance...They really have to be alarmed by this and perhaps they could have lost if not For Pepe Reina..While Everton Should that determination of steel in them that brought them among the the top 4 for the past few seasons to score to injury time goals By Tim Cahill and Mikel Arteta!Elsewhere there were wins for Arsenal,Blackpool,Fulham...While Tottenham couldn't show the style that took them to the Champions league last season Against West brom..So overall,Few shocks and few good wins!...Balance week :D
