Gerard Houlier Joining Aston Villa Coaching Staff?

This seem odd for me at first when i heard this news,Because In times when Aston Villa Were finding a manager.At Gerard Houllier being a manager himself.I pretty much though he was going to take the hot seat but actually his going to work together with Kevin Macdonald in the Coaching Area with Houllier having a more important role.While Kevin Macdonald will still be an important figure as he will be handling A key coaching himself.
Anyway though,If it's true..Then it would certainly be great news for Aston Villa To welcome aboard a man who has huge vast experience In Managing In where he had Some mix success where he won The league title with Paris St Germain But failing to the lead the country to the world cup in 1994.But was Considered to have a given a huge Contribution in the 1998 win with his Technical development skills which seem to be the big factor.
His also no Stranger To The English premier league In where he Became team Manager for them Back in 1998 after Roy Evans in which he was suppose to be joint team Manager quit.It was certainly great news for a team like Liverpool as a successful manager was needed to spur them on.What was particularly a highlight was Like Arsene Wenger At Arsenal,Gerard Houlier also had a Great Youth Policy himself by recruiting Young players into the team.Seems Much of Houllier's youth policy was based on bringing in what he regarded as the best that France had to offer And he was also was the head of the youth technical development of the French Association.No denying that he sure had a vast experience and knowledge about the youth Sector.
Without hesitating,Houlier Began in what was called 'the five year rebuilding'.In Which he changed the whole Entire team..Literally! And 3 years on,His rebuilding was top notch as Liverpool won An Amazing treble in the 2000/2001 Season In where the Won the Uefa Cup,League Cup And Fa Cup And Also finishing third that season to get a champions league Spot.The Following Season though the Season Was Disrupted in the match against Leeds when he fell ill with A heart Problem in which he had to go through a 11 hour Operation.He took 5 months To recover.
His reputation in the Youth Area Would certainly be A Golden Capture as Aston Villa who are loyal Supporters of Home Grown Talent are believed to want to bring in three more home Grown Players.
Gerard Houllier Hasn't been with a club since 2007 when he left A Successful Spell With lyon Where they did extremely well to win back to back titles in the 2005/2006 and 2006/2007 season.But what seems to be a mystery still is if He will be making the decisions in the team or a personal experience Sounding board for Kevin Macdonald who's coaching skills are highly rated by the club.
