Aaron Ramsey Report!

Finally After so long i Got to see Aaron Ramsey once again play professional football in the final hour of Nottingham Forest Match against Leicester City in which they lost 1-0...It was great to see him after his horrific double leg fracture which almost made me cry(Literally)...He did look shaky but it's his first appearance after so long so no worries matey..Hopefully he will get to play again after he comes back to the Arsenal camp on January the 3rd....Anyway For those who didn't watch it,The young lad came in about in the 60th minute and gosh In just like 3 minutes or so he began to show his class with his calmness,Composure and awareness...For a Young guy to come back from a horror injury like that and play like as though he have been playing football regularly is just pure amazing which also shows his mental strength which Arsenal at times lack. His linking from back to front with the ball was also superb, before coming on i didn't really see that and once he came on he showed abit of what Arsenal have taught him *stands up proud*...Even The manager Billy Davies gave him praise!!!...Gosh with that performance I saw,I can't wait to see him back in the squad together with Wilshire and Fabby!...All that thoughts of The midfield being invincible is just exciting haha...I can't really say much since he only played like half an hour but i can conclude that he was Amazing but again He looked understandably knackered after about 20 mins, but so freaking comfortable on the ball ...Here's a couple of pictures of him a Forest shirt

League cup 5th round Results!

Fifth Round

Ipswich Town were the lowest ranked remaining side left in the competition, and the sole remaining representative of the Championship in the Fifth Round draw and we will see if that stays against Premier league side West Brom which will be the one of the last two matches of the fitth round tomorrow the other one is between Birmingham And Aston Villa, which took place on 30 October 2010.The first two games of 4 were played yesterday while the other two games Between Ispwich Vs West Brom and Aston Villa Vs Birmingham will be played today. And already the first set of games already caused a surprise,I really expected Man Utd and Arsenal to battle out but a sign of luck for Arsenal as West Ham trashed the Champions to make it easier for the gunners to end their 5 years without a trophy. Now Arsenal gotta do is win the two games and play 'consistently'....

WEDNESDAY 1st December 2010

Well with Arsenal and West ham through to the semi Finals yesterday, the other two teams to join them were decided today where the only team not from the Premier League Ispwich under the guidance of talented Sven Goran Ericsson and boasted by a few signings against West Brom who you can say technically are flying the league now and the other match was a derby match between West Brom and Aston Villa...
I can't really comment on the the Ispwich and West Brom match because to be honest i didn't really see but I did see the Birmingham Derby though and gosh it was exciting, especially the managers who I think were more excited then crowd with all their hand signals flying as if they are calling for SOS And even Webb had to come them down(Probably that's their way of warming themselves)...While the rest in the stands froze to death(I don't know, they were not moving) especially Stuart Pearce...The players battled it out with some aggressiveness and urgency and just 12 minutes into the game Birmingham got brought down after some infringement in the box and up step Larsson confidently to score to send their home fans to raptures. Not long after though,Aston Villa hit back with Gabriel Agbonlahor who Fascinated me because he doesn't only have pace but had the strength to out muscle his marker to shoot in the low right corner of the net.
And as the day went by with more an more snow falling and spectators having their butts frozen and Managers finding all method to keep themselves warm...Birmingham gave the hardest blow when Zigic got to the end of a low cross under the pressure of a marker to slot it home although it looked to have deflected off his marker and scooped over the rising Friedel to once again send the fans to raptures and that celebration seemed to take a toll of him as he looked tired after that(Didn't they all?)...With more injuries being sustained by the players(Weak links)..It was a relieve for both managers probably even for the losing company to go home without to having to play another half an hour of longer if there's no breakthrough.Well it was great win for them As Zigic fourth goal for them was enough to get the adulation of the fans at the end of the game in this chilly night(You should have seen the matches in Switzerland and Poland!)...Anyway congrats to Birmingham and also Ispwich for keeping the record of being the only championship team left in the competition

Aston Villa Vs Arsenal Review (27th November 2010)

A crest with a claret border, light blue background and yellow lion rampant facing to the left with a small star slightly above an outstretched leg. AVFC is atop the lion in claret writing with "Prepared" written underneath. VS Red shield with large gold cannon below the word "Arsenal" in white letters. Thin white and blue stripes line the shield's left and right edges.

Well Guys Arsenal once again proved why they are contenders for the title with another slick display of football which will even get the votes of the most worst of Critics. And what a way to get the victory with an emphatic win away to Aston Villa(Don't ask me why they suck at home) After two back to back defeats in a week. And what i really enjoyed is that they learned from their mistakes against Tottenham in where they fell asleep after the interval which caused Them the win and this time around they pushed forward in every single minute to confirm the victory.

They didn't play any different then they did against Tottenham though, here is what i have studied and found out about their tactic. If you all did realize in the game,Arsenal had like about 5 attackers in the opposing all the time. They pushed up really high and put pressure on the whole team even defence especially. They gave no time for the Villians To settle and that is the type of game i want to see from them week in and week out but sadly they have been quite inconsistent but oh well better enjoy times like this.Oh yeah,And did you see John Carew Being forced up all the way to his own half?...That shows our tight Arsenal's defence were and also the pressure on the mid half that forced the players like Pires and Carew who lack pace to come up which would be a real problem if they did get the ball.

Anyway to the review of the game,Arsenal made some changes with the likes of Fabregas being out so Rosicky was given the chance to start in the first team to add some width to the attack while Young English prodigy came back to lend a hand with his expertise after a back injury ruled him out last week.He replaced Another young man by the name Of Denilson...It was the first time in 4 years Arsenal had the opportunity to meet Frenchmen Robert Pires once again and he was warmly welcomed by his former boss Arsene Wenger which further proves their relationship.

But that soon all changed on the pitch when Arsenal from the start of the 1st second started to rampage the Aston Villa half with torrents of attack and there were close for a great number of times with the first one being A through ball to Chamakh and the Morrocon somehow got the ball pass the keeper but it was to weak and it was cleared of the line. Then Nasri who has done so well this season almost got on the scoresheet when he went pass the defence and keeper...And the goal too as his shot went to the side netting...

Nevertheless,Arsenal continued pushing against this young Aston Villa side in which the defenders look as though they were amateurs as they look totally unsettled and giving the ball away easily. All that combined with Arsenal Attacking you would for sure have expected a goal and that what just happen with 6 minutes left to play the long overdue goal was finally converted by Arshavin via a defence mishap again when an up field kick by Fabianksi was both contested between Young and Collins which prove a wrong choice as none of them got it and Arshavin punished them by scoring from the edge of the area.

Just as the half look to be ending with a solitary goal, but before the end...Arsenal managed to add more misery to Aston Villa with a beautiful flighted volley By Nasri to pay avenged that miss he made earlier. So it was 2:0 in the first half but i wasn't really excited to admit because this was like de ja vu all over again like the match against Tottenham in where they dominated so much ,got the two goals and the keeper hardly tested.

Anyway the second half started and Robert Pires who barely got the ball was taken off,Maybe he loved the club to much he didn't have the heart to cause any damage haha. And like last eek,the opposing team got into their stride and not long after the got the goal to bring back the de ja vu and ghosts of Tottenham past...7 minutes after the start, one of Villa's Young kids made a beautiful left foot volley to cut the lead to one with only their first strike of the game. But I think the referee should have blown the whistle for Offside for something because Carew was in the offside position so long and he somehow did manage to block the keeper view because Fabainski had to look around him to see the ball...So Fabianski,Your forgiven! :P.

But Arsenal Thankfully Up the tempo once again as just minutes later, they pegged back the Villians immediately when another through ball set up Chamakh who this time didn't waste it by sliding it home to further impress in his first season for the club with his 10th goal for the club in 21 appearances.Aston Villa and the put pressure on our frail defence(good tactic by them)..And in the 71st Minute all that pressure got to the defence and Clark took the opportunity by heading in a set piece.Arsenal Inability to take care of set pieces has been a great downfall to the team which I think they must improve fast before teams bite them in the butt.

Arsenal then made some good changes probably to preserve the lead by adding on defensive players like Denilson and Gibbs and well that seemed to work as Aston Villa didn't seem to break the barrier after that. The game looked to have to be done with goals but once again Arsenal pushed up with their 5 attackers which again caused problem to the Villa's defence and Some neat thinking by Chamakh to cross the ball cross goal to Wilshire settled the game off in Injury time to get those three valuable points to leap into first spot for now...Hopefully Arsenal will continue this type of play!

Man Utd Vs Blackburn Rovers Review (27th November 2010)

The words "Manchester" and "United" surround a pennant featuring a ship in full sail and a devil holding a trident.VS Blackburn Rovers.svg

Another day at the 'theater of Dreams' and as usual another big crowd which Man Utd had to to please and this time around they had to do with against Blackburn who so far haven't been to bad coming up to the game...But i was going to be toughy nighty for them to handle the Men in red as Man Utd have scored in every game at home since December 2009 which is almost a year! And plus their Undefeated although their season hasn't been on fire but we still gotta remember their still the 'only' Undefeated team in England...

And they could continue that run with the return of Their last season' Top Scorer Wayne Rooney back to the first team after a short spell in Oregon,USA to get back his fitness. He partnered a Dimitar Berbatov who hasn't been in very good form this season as it's been 10 games since his scored which for a striker, you would be embarrassed to look at that..Darren Fletcher was the only first team player out of the team with an ankle injury so Anderson started. While For Blackburn though, they had Gael Givet out with illness and so stepped up Pascal Cimbonda who was making his 200th premier league start,Herold Goulon had his first start in replace of Injured Morten Gamst Pedersen.

And What a start Man Utd had! In only two minutes they struck their first goal with Robinson probably getting caught by the challenge by the on rushing Anderson which forced the former number 1 to slice clear it straight into Nani And the portuguese took no time to cross it in and guess who scored?...Dimitar Berbatov finally ended his ten game run with an amazing goal with outer right foot. And just about 24 Minutes later they got their second goal and this time around Rooney who really impressed in the game although he didn't score let in a delightful defence splitting ball into the path of Park Ji Sung who had the easiest of task of slotting it pass the keeper for his 3rd goal of the season.A beautiful constructed goal which shows true champions!

Blackburn were stunned in what was happening, they didn't look to get into the game at all and they couldn't even try if they wanted too because of Utd's Slick passing and i guessed they did give up and just 2 minutes later.Abit of pressure by Rooney caused Chimbonda to give a beautiful weighted back pass to the keeper who in fact had Berbatov in company and The Bulgarian made no mistake with a point blank Missile for this second goal of the game.A great game for the Bulgarian,Bad day for the Frenchman making his 200th appearance...

Man Utd went to half knowing they probably got the match in the bag already unless some kind of power were used on the Blackburn team or something. And Well I though Man Utd would have stepped off the pedal going into the second half but they proved me wrong once again and did the opposite of what Arsenal normally do.And just 2 minutes after the interval,A fine few seconds of Tormenting by Nani of the Defence soon found the assistance of Berbatov who coolly slid in his third to record his second hat trick this season.Blackburn I think Had no idea what they were doing here and rather got home...And to make it worse for the Rovers,Just a single minute later Defence failed to catch up to Nani Speed and this time he did torment the defence and went for goal himself to record Man Utd's fifth goal of the game.

6th goal though was pure crafted champions like goal.It all started with the build up by Rafael as he passed to Nani, raced into the box in where Nani distributed it back to him and made a delightful cross back cross the goal in where Park's Shot was block but they couldn't stop the stunning Berbatov who looked to be at the right place at the right time in the whole match who get his fourth goal of the game. And I guess it was just his day as everything went right for him,One great example is especially the last goal to cap of things when his supposed cross to Rooney in the box was blocked of by a defender but magically it went back to him and from the most tightest of angles he scored for his 5th goal and also to enter record books as the fourth player only to score 5 goals in the premier league. In the 80th Minute though,Slight defence napping caused Blackburn to get a goal back but I think they deserve it after going through what deemed to be the worst result for any team...Samba scored that goal...But Utd would definitely be frustrated not to keep A clean sheet.

So Overall I think That Nani,Rooney And Berbatov can be A torment for Defence went their In Form especially now Rooney who looks to be slowly getting back his form. And well this could be the spark of something really scary for the teams behind of them as I've seen them constantly improving.Man Utd were just relentless in attack without any mercy for Blackburn,Their intensity going forward with the likes of park Ji Sung going forward all the time and Nani's speed up front was a torment to defence. But forget about that,The most important thing is the timing of Utd looking to get their gear up with other teams at the back slipping up...But one thing i was quite disappointed is the defence being to relax,I don't think they should have let in that goal and I think that's only one or two problems which I think Alex can work out on then we could probably see the mean machines of Utd going to work. But what i'm quite fascinated is Utd always start of the season slow and step it up a notch at the most right time which is just amazing for the team.To Counclude,I think this Utd team just perfectly balance with the amount of depth in team!..And Blackburn got to forget about this performance and get on with life...

MAN UTD XI:starting XI: Van der Sar; Rafael Da Silva, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra; Nani, Anderson, Carrick, Park Ji Sung; Berbatov, Rooney.

Subs Used:Evans,Obertan

BLACKBURN starting XI: Robinson;Salgado,Samba,Chimbonda,Nelsen,Emerton,Dunn,Jones,Goulan,Diouf,Roberts.

MAN OF THE MATCH:Dimitar Berbatov

Review of Premier league ~~~Week 15th (27-28 Nov)

SATURDAY 27th November 2010

It was another Awesome week and it couldn't be any better as for the first time ever All teams scored in the Weekend with an amazing 41 Goals entering including The 7 goals scored by man Utd To cap a majestic including 5 goals by Berbatov not only to earn himself in the record books of only being the 4th person in the Premier League History to score 5 goals in a game but it was made it even sweeter as that ended his barren run of 10 games without a goal.It was a match that saw Rooney coming back to the first team and he did well enough to impress me with some influential and delightful passing during the game which in fact could have been a factor In Berbatov's scoring Spree.

Arsenal also got back their Race for the title back on Track with an emphatic 4-2 win which also saw the Return of Robert Pires from the 'Invincibles' Team of Arsenal back then but instead he was playing for the opposing team.Arsenal almost met the ghosts of Tottenham again when they dominated the first half and ended it with 2 goals before letting in a goal early in second half thanks to Clark who scored his first ever goal for the club before scoring his second later on but Arsenal held firm and Wilshire scored deep in injury time to settle it for Arsenal for those three crucial points that briefly sent them to the top of the table.

Blackpool almost halted Bolton's amazing run with a bang when they led 2:0 but Being A new look Bolton Side with quality which i didn't see for the past seasons. They Did superbly well to snatch a point with an amazing comeback to end the game 2:2...Everton's Great home run was again dealt a big blow when this time they lost to West Brom with a 4-1 trashing which also saw captain Arteta sent off for a supposed Stump on an opposition player. In other places,Birmingham will be cursing at the referee for making a bad decision when He gave a corner to Fulham which clearly didn't go out,a corner which snatch a valuable point for the Cottagers. And also once again bringing up the controversy of bad refereeing...

After what seem to be a improving Man City last week were all sent crashing down when The Eastlanders drew with Stoke after letting in a goal 2 minutes into injury time By Sanli Tuncay to cancel outMicah Richards Opener in game where you they could have also lost if not for the Stoke players to waste a great amount of Chances.

At Upton Park,There was a great sigh of relief both for Club and Fans when West Ham carved out a great 3-1 win against Wigan to only record their second win at home this season.Valon Behrami put the Hammers ahead in the first half when he nipped in to take advantage of some hesitation in the Wigan defence, with only a stunning save from Ali Al Habsi denying Frederic Piquionne to keep the hosts' half-time lead to one.Victor Obinna then made it two, with Scott Parker adding a third after Mauro Boselli had missed a penalty for Wigan, who grabbed a consolation through Tom Cleverley.

Other then Upton Park,The stadium of Molinuex also had some part of Relief When Wolves themselves defeated an impressing Sunderland Side who just a few weeks back made history by defeating Chelsea.Kevin Foley put Wolves ahead in the second half as he followed in a Craig Gordon parry, before Darren Bent and Danny Welbeck swung the contest in Sunderland's favour. But Stephen Hunt scored from close range and Sylvan Ebanks-Blake netted with a minute of normal time remaining to give manager Mick McCarthy a win over his former side.To end their Barren Run of 4 straight losses with the last win taking them back before this three games where the famously defeated Man City by 2 goals to 1...

SUNDAY 28th November 2010

This was the day not to miss as First it was the game between Chelsea And Newcastle,A game which could have seen The Blues continue their poor run or not.And it looks like they continued their poor run with a dull 1-1 draw in where once again the dominated the game but just couldn't fine the cutting edge at goal. One problem is that the defence once again showed their frailties without Terry when Alex made a bad pass back to the keeper and Carrol had the easiest of task to tap it in the an open net.But Chelsea came back strong with some quality we haven't seen in a long time with some quick interchanges to lead to Kalou's goal.He could have made it two in the second half but with the goal at his mercy without anyone in front of him just about a couple of feet from goal,MISSED IT!...Drogba also had a goal disallowed for a handball...Chelsea have now only taken 4 from a possible 15 points...

In the last match of the week which coincidentally was match of the week,Saw high Flying Tottenham against poor form Liverpool at White Hart Lane in a game which Tottenham were expected to win.And what a shock it turned out to be in the first half when liverpool started off brighter and were rewarded a goal when a free kick into the box was pounched in from From Martin Skrtel who became zero in the second half when he scored an own goal when Modric great run into the box was then released cross goal for Skrtel to only tap it into his own net.And when all seemed to be over with both teams sharing points,Some Controversy in what seem like a foul in the box by Ekotto on Kuyt in the box but was not given and Tottenham countinued to push and from back of the field,A last ditch hack at the ball to the front saw Lennon's pace to fast for Koschesky and he kept well composed to score the goal to add more misery to Liverpool. Thus also saving Defoe's Face as his penalty in the first half didn't hit the back of the net to miss like his 4th penalty in 5 attempts...And also their 5th goal scored in the last ten minutes this season....

Sunday match preview Plus Prediction:Chelsea Vs Newcastle (28/11/10)

Chelsea FC.svg VS Newcastle United Logo.svg

It's been a real frustrating month for Chelsea considering just about 5-6 weeks ago they seemed to be untouchable. But that soon all changed with already 3 defeats in 4 games and surely they wouldn't want to make it 4 in 5 against Newcastle Today.Luckily for Chelsea though as Newcastle are not in their prime form too as they are coming back from a 5-1 drubbing by Bolton Last week.

Chelsea have been way off their form which took them to an amazing 21 goals in the first games of the league but right now they seemed to have lost it all with only a mere goal in their last 4 games. The main problem i guessed is the injuries to their main players especially the defence and Midfielders. The defence has been a mess without John Terry leading them on as Alex who moulded a formidable partnership together with the latter seem to not able to adapt with Ivanovic which you could see in the 3:0 drubbing against Sunderland. For the midfielders, not only they lost the likes of Lampard and Essien but there were the players who played a major part in the engine room and more crucially is that they scored goals which I don't think Chelsea have replacements or someone similar to them.Essien made good contribution with his head about one or two times,Lampard was a player who could get into the box or sometimes even beyond the Striker which was also essential to a player like Drogba as those two men were capable of letting off some pressure from the defence of the opposition on Drogba that could explain his tons of goals and not.

For Newcastle though,They got a crisis of themselves too with Both First team centrebacks both Coloccini and Williamson out through Suspension but i don't think that will be a problem as they Got top players like Sol Campbell and Steven Taylor look set to make their first start to the season. The other player out is Barton with suspension himself,So Newcastle to have some injuries crisis and certainly they will be Banging on the club top scorers Kevin Nolan and Andy Carrol to bag in the goals for them.

For the stats,It doesn't look good for Chelsea both past and Present...Why?...Because the last 16 matches they played between them at St James Park,Newcastle have gotten the upper edge 7 times to Chelsea's 5 while they have dish out a point each 5 times.Although the last time they met at This stadium when to Chelsea's favor with 2:0 win but latest This both met has gone to Newcastle in the league cup with the scores ending 4:3.

For the line up's though I expect Alex to Partner Ivanovic once again but I think it's just not a right decision delaying his Surgery by a week because Terry is coming back soon and Surgery later means later you come back. And I honestly think Terry will have problems partnering a new defender himself so i really think Alex should have done it as early as possible more over this game risks him to further serious injury so I don't know what the team is thinking of still putting him on still.Letting Bruma play would be a better choice because for the past games i've seen him,He looks to be coming a matured excellent player and also it would give him some chance of game experience.

But even with the Injuries and crisis Chelsea are facing I still think they will still kick out a result for themselves because As Reigning champions,You can't lose 3 straight games and their Maturity and Experience will definitely be a good help to the team stride for a win against Newcastle. Moreover,It's at home! :)...So i'm thinking a 1:0 win for Chelsea

11)Avram Grant Hopes that the Win against Wigan yesterday is the start of good things to come. The hammers recorded their First win since the end of September by sweeping aside Wigan with a scoreline of 3 goals to 1...Avram Grant was given the ultimatum of 3 games to save his butt and this win would do wonders.

Premier league Preview Saturday games and predictions 27 Nov 2010

Aston Villa Vs Arsenal

With two back to back defeats Already Plus with the Absence of talisman Fabregas.Arsenal have to produce something against An Aston villa side who have the honor of being one of the only premier league clubs left with a perfect Home record and would love to expand the record against An Arsenal side who has been quite impressing on Away grounds but Inconsistency has gotten to them lately.
Arsenal were hit hard in their Mid week champions league game of not only losing but also losing the likes Of Eboue And Captain Fabregas through Injury but there's a happy ending to it too with Robin Van persie,Andrey Arshavin and Gael Clichy all declared fit for the game after being rested for The Mid week game which had seven changes to the side.
Aston Villa to wouldn't feel lefted out with the return of Top striker John Carew Back in the squad after his 4 game absence with a calf injury. He played a reserve match earlier this week and is declared fit for the squad this week, back in His Lyon days Houllier was his coach so there's some good relationship in Villa.Arsenal could also see the return of Robert Pires in the premier league after the latter joined the villians last week on a 6 month deal.Towering Defender James Collins also looks set to be back after missing the 2:0 defeat to Blackburn last week.Even with Arsenal's Current form in question,I'm going for a 4-2 win for them with Wilshire being the man of the match haha.

Bolton Wanderers Vs Blackpool

Bolton have been a surprise package in the race for the title this season as they are Currently placed 5th in the Standings.Manager Owen Coyle has done a brilliant job of turning a club who fought to survive last season into a free scoring side which arguably has the best striking partnership so far with the Likes Of Kevin Davies And Johan Elmander. One factor of this change i think is the style of play now,The ball is now more on the ground rather the long balls which they used to play back in the days. This team I think are good for a top 10 finish this season...
But hold on for a sec,I realized i was talking to much about Bolton. We can't forget about Blackpool too who have been a surprise package themselves with some beautiful football shown which you can rarely see a side from the championship play.A top half finish for them too this season for me...
For this game,They will certainly miss the likes of Marlon Harewood though who tore his ligament in a training regime which Holloway blames himself for overdoing the workout. Both Ludovic Slyvestre and Chris Basham look to be doubtful too.
While Blackpool look to be going through some injuries problem,Bolton on the other hand look to have to many fit quality players as they were rumors of Players like Petrov looking to move. But I don't think that will change with Owen Coyle look set to name an unchanged side that trashed Newcastle last week. With Elmander and Davies once again out to terrorize the defences of their oppositions. But I think Blackpool have the quality to nick out a point so i guess i'm going with a draw with the scoreline being 1:1.

Everton Vs West Brom

The Baggies made a superb side to the season but slowly have dropped of the pace in the race for the top 4 spot with only a point in 5 games and no goals in 199 Minutes.Everton On the other hand have a better record with only one defeat in 10 games with Arsenal beating them at home to end their 8 match unbeaten run at home and that seemed to suddenly taken a toll on them.
David Moyes' charges were held to a 2-2 draw at Sunderland on Monday night but could have won the game had Jermaine Beckford not spurned a late chance over the bar.Albion do not have the best of records at Goodison and in four top-flight games at the Merseyside ground they have lost three and drawn one.
But like everyone always say,This is football and anything can happen in this beautiful game.West Brom are currently waiting for the fitness results of Chris Brunt who had a groin Injury but what's for sure is that James Morrison and Steven Reid both coming back from injuries. While Everton might see a return of Nigerian striker Victor Anichebe who hasn't made a league start since a knee injury in pre season. While the other Absentee is Felliani who is serving his final game out of the three game ban for his red card against Bolton.Another Hard Prediction but i Think Everton should come out on top looking at their home form...So for me it's a 3-1 win for Everton.

Fulham Vs Birmingham

Both teams are coming back from different weeks with Fulham going through a heavy defeat against Big spenders Man City while Birmingham probably producing one of the Results of the season when they defeated Chelsea by a goal from Bowyer.A string of bad performances have sent Fulham to the relegation zone with only goal difference separating them between Wigan who are in the Zone. While That amazing win for Birmingham pushed them up to 15th spot with some breathing space.
Birmingham boss Alex Mcleish will be happy to have a clean injury free squad with Only short term absentees like Craig Gardner and Maik Taylor both out but reported to be improving. The only long term abseetee is James Mcfadden with a knee ligament injury.
Fulham Will be set to miss Andy johnson with a hamstring injury and with already Other strikers like Dembele and Zamora out.Diomansy Kamara look set to make only his third appearance this season.I'm going with a 1:1 draw for this game,Hard to separate this two teams as i see them to be both similar...

Man Utd Vs Blackburn

Man Utd trounced Wigan last week to put them leveled on points with Leaders Chelsea. And Being the only undefeated team in the league now,I don't expect that to change against A Blackburn side as i don't think they got the quality to mount any challenge against the Red's.Blackburn for me will have problems containing the Champions with The likes Of Berbatov,Nani and the revived Rooney in the squad.
What is great for Utd is that The defending duo of Vidic and Ferdinand both will be back to add steel to the defence as both of them were rested to give chances to Smalling and Evans who did well to not let past a goal in mid week.Patrice Evra will also play but Darren Fletcher (ankle) is definitely out and Paul Scholes (groin) is doubtful.
Blackburn are reported to be outgoing some fitness tests for some players in time for the game,Among them is the man of the match for the team last week where he scored both the goals against Aston Villa Morten Gamst Pedersen and also Brett Emerton are the among the few.Steven N'Zonzi and Benjani will also go through the fitness test for a suspected Hamstring injury that has kept them sideline for a few weeks. One man certainly back is Defender Gael Givet who went off half time last week through illness.A big club with a massive reputation deserve a big result so i'm going with a 5-0 win...!

Stoke City Vs Man City

Nothing much to say about this match,Stoke's only problem though will be the fitness of Jermain Pennant who only lasted for 11 minutes last week before going off for a hamstring injury.Although scans showed no damage but his still in a state of playing or not playing.
Man City though will see the return of Striker Mario Ballotelli who served a three match ban after his red card against West Brom in which he starred. But he might be on the bench as the likes Of Tevez seemed to be more likely to start. The only change Mancini has to make is Pablo Zabaleta who is banned for a game due to 5 yellow cards.I don't really see any fire in Man City's squad yet so i'm going for another draw in this week's game with a scoreline of 2-2.

West Ham Vs Wigan

For me,This is the second match of the week behind the Spurs And liverpool game. This game is what we should call 'the battle of the lower end's' With Both West Ham And Wigan just a team separating them(Wolves) with both of them also in the Drop zone and both teams will be wanting to get the valuable three points.Scott Parker could return after missing the 3-0 defeat against Liverpool with a virus but Avram Grant could be without Mark Noble after the midfielder suffered a leg injury at Anfield.
West Ham will also be without long term casualties Manuel da Costa , Jack Collison, Thomas Hitzlsperger, Anthony Edgar and Peter Kurucz But Grant will be boosted by the return of Valon Behrami and Kieron Dyer in midfield.
Wigan on the other hand will be hoping that captain Caldwell will be fit for the game three weeks before scheduled.Wigan are also hit with Striker Rodallega and defender Alcarez both out after being sent off last week against Man Utd.And well that's about if for the injuries list.I'm going with a win for West ham here,They should have that extra boost with the home support and will to get out of the relegation zone with a 1-0 win and hopefully he does because i got rumours that he is only given 3 matches to save his job so a win would do wonders to both him and the team in confidence sense

Wolves Vs Sunderland

Wolves once again were hit by a late goal to condemned them to a 4th straight defeat against Blackpool to leave them in 19th spot and five points from safety.
The former Republic of Ireland tactician has seen his team play well in recent weeks, but has watched the Midlanders go a goal down within the first five minutes in each of their last three matches. And the Wanderers chief is desperate for his team to avoid another early setback when his former club come to town.
McCarthy's Wolves are the only team in the division yet to keep a clean sheet and he has defensive worries ahead of Sunderland's visit to Molineux.Defender Steven Mouyokolo is struggling with a back injury and is rated as 50/50 for the match but McCarthy is hopeful that Kevin Foley, who injured his knee in training, and Steven Fletcher, who has a virus, will be fit to play.Jody Craddock is absent while Christoph Berra misses out through suspension but Ronald Zubar comes back into the squad after recovering from an ankle injury.Skipper Karl Henry is another player who is unavailable and the combative midfielder is sidelined until the New Year with a knee compliant. He joins long-term absentee Adlene Guedioura (broken leg) on the treatment table.David Edwards would be McCarthy's first-choice replacement for Henry, but the Wales international is out with a thigh problem so Nenad Milijas is likely to partner on-loan Michael Mancienne in the engine room. The injuries in midfield could see McCarthy revert to two up front with Sylvain Ebanks-Blake pushing for a starting slot.
No news about Sunderland's Injury list though....Anyway I think Wolves will somehow get a win out of this,Sunderland have looked good recently but i got a good bet Wolves will get this right with a 2-0 win

Match of the week:Tottenham Hotspur Vs Liverpool (28/11/10)

Tottenham Hotspur.svg VSThe words "Liverpool Football Club" are in the center of a pennant, with flames either side. The words "You'll Never Walk Alone" adorn the top of the emblem in a green design, "EST 1892" is at the bottom.

In this week's match of the week,We will see High Flyers Tottenham Hotspur against an up and down form Liverpool side which back in the days used to be one of England's top teams(Sadly not now). And as expected,With Tottenham high flying with the recent last 16 qualification in the Champions league and breaking a 17 year drought By beating Arsenal Away.Confidence couldn't be much higher for the Man in white to defeat the man in red.Liverpool on the other hand have to find some inspirations as well and things couldn't have come worst with influential Skipper Stevie G out for 4 weeks. But to be honest,I think Liverpool could get a point or even all three points,we have seen them out play the big boys with confidence which they don't seem to emulate into other games.Well we can say the team looks half dead with with a host of out form players but Well sorry but i just can't seem to give it away to Tottenham just like that.We got to remember that They just came back from a tiring Champions league game and the Heartbeat of the Engine room looks doubtful(Van Der Vaart) who has been the mastermind of their goals. So i think Liverpool got a chance there if they play to their full potential and never say die attitude is present.

If looking at Stats between the head to head record at White Hart lane,Kop fans wouldn't be to confident there as In the last 18 matches played at the stadium.Tottenham have come up tops with 8 wins while Liverpool have nicked out 5 wins with 5 draws between them. The latest scoreline was last season 2-1 win to Tottenham. And there's more misery for Liverpool fans as Roy Hodgson has amazingly only managed to record 13 away wins since his managerial Career.I think i should move away from the stats...For now....

Back to the teams now,Like i said earlier Liverpool certainly have a chance because Right now I still think Tottenham are Inconsistent and after capping an amazing week,I think it will just get to them with the demands and pressure on them to lift up to the standard they have produce and You can never underestimate Liverpool because if you approach them Wrongly, they got the the quality of backfiring you.

Liverpool i heard will bring That Joe Cole which is great news as he can bring in the Quality at the flanks, they i Think should put two strikers up front to add pressure to Tottenham's Defence which Honestly I Think is still frail. They Got Meireles and Poulsen who are great Defensive players and can give a helping hand to stop The Midfield. The main problem though is not all that But the Speed of Bale which has caused a great amount of problems to teams this season already and one great solution can be done is to 'at least' have two players stopping him from even getting the ball. His tiny guy with not much psychical strength and I think he will be a flop if Liverpool are able to out muscle him while Hopefully Torres get's his form back and bang in the goals.

Tottenham on the other hand i admit have just been amazing but again i also like to repeat is that their post Champions league games haven't been to good and this added Demands wouldn't be a likely welcome. But looking at the quality they have and if used to full potential.I see Liverpool having a hard time containing them.So It's quite a hard prediction for me to make though with Both teams definitely having the Quality to get all three points but I think this is going to liverpool so it's a 2:0 win for Liverpool

Goal Line Technology?

Just though of bringing Up,This is something which i have been hoping for Fifa to Bring up and start making it a practice with it but I'm quite Disappointed though as i never really heard about it since the debate of the England's Goal.I think they better do something fast about it because not only wrong referee ruins a game but probably it might ruin a team too.I know it's a sport and all but this days so much money is involved and to make sure no 'incidents' I think they better implant it fast and make it a Fairer game before this 'incidents' ever happen.

We got the technology(They can make babies too ;p)..So why not?...Other games have implanted it successfully so Probably Football will too since So many parties already agree with the need of it.Well no Denying that Without technology it makes an 'event' like for example the 1966 World Cup final between West Germany and England..It was a highly controversial game And till today even people who don't even know a Thing about football knows it(A girl i know)...But I don't think this a good practice to make off because as i Said too much money is involved this days and the best way is to Implant the goal line technology.

So what do you guys think about it?...Don't you think that this 'tech' should be implanted to make the game fairer and less violent with players unhappy with the decision?

More Nightmares For Arsenal And Liverpool!

Two Clubs,Both in Crisis and Both not in a very good place now with the loss of their main leaders. The only difference is Liverpool looked to have suited in this Situation already while Arsenal are the current newbies who have been categorized in this position.

First We Go to liverpool,A club who haven't been going to well since the start of last season after having an amazing second place finished in the season before and right now we can say they are currently improving and they looked to have a steady track until their Influential Star Stevie G came back home with a hamstring Injury which will rule him out for Months.Well they did prove that they can do it without him with a thumping win over West ham,But those guys are right at the basement of the league and I feel they will get the effect soon with the Visit to high flying Tottenham. It would take something for Liverpool to get their inspirations from somewhere else because i Think his the only one who has guided the team and motivated them to where they are now so I'm pretty excited actually to See a Liverpool side buoyed by their win At West ham Bounce back against A side which Brought Arsenal to their knees. And Just a stat to share which is Stevie G has Scored almost half of their Goals And played in every game for them this season so you could see the such indispensable nature of him in the club

And Speaking About Arsenal,Everything is not going right for them all of a sudden. It's been a hectic 4 days for Arsenal Losses to Tottenham and Braga to record back to back defeats and To make it worst Cesc Fabregas has suffered yet another hamstring injury(The only type of Injury Which I think has effected Him). And of all times they will face an Enthusiastic Aston Villa side,I really think that Arsenal will have a hard time themselves Against Villa after that back to back defeat which definitely have dented their Moral and Without such a leader of Cecs In the team couldn't come at a any worst time because i remember seeing games without him in where at times they team look lifeless but if you realize and observed really well, you could see the difference he brought to the team...Although i Don't think he has been performing the way he did last season but i still strongly believe he still brings something to the club

So Overall,We only wait and see how both of this teams who have been going through a crisis See off their games without such influential leaders that have certainly help uplift the squad no matter what.Just Update that Liverpool will meeting Tottenham in the match of week while Arsenal will be meeting Aston Villa where they might meet former Player Robert Pires.

It's all years now...

When we talk about age,We seemed the only think we discuss is money,Length of contract,How Much is he worth?..How much is to much?...Well that seems the case for players who get into their so called 'Twilight' Zone.Have anyone of you realize that as a player get's older he will instead of getting wiser will demand more like Money and the Length of a Contract.

They know their getting older and probably never get into football again,And i think it's just a waste of time trying to tie down an aging player if he demands to much.Where did all their life savings go anyway?...People this days are getting greedier and it is getting worst as the years go by..Instead of doing something they want an easy life(Guess Alex Fergusan's wise words were right)...

Look At William Gallas For Example which are Arsenal eventually released due to his demands which i Think is a right thing because greedy players intend to play worst for example Adebayor after getting a wage rise at Arsenal. For Veiera?...Hmm probably is the money too because i don't think he he would be a fool enough to not know he won't be playing alot.So is it really worthy to tie down aging players Who ask for more?...Well besides the negative,We can also say that they indeed bring alot of experience and leadership to the team as well paying wages is not as expensive as signing a new player(Is it)...So yeah there positives and Negatives in this...

So the main question is 'Do Aging players deserve to be given in by Managers or just release all that experience they are willing to give?'

Arsenal To Finally nail their Title Drought?

This is a question which many people have already been asking me pressuring me since i open my big fat mouth by saying they will win it in 2 years time which means this season(I said it 2 years back)...But To bad i always have to come with the same answer and say They do have a very Strong team(But not as strong in Arsene's 14 years) But their mentality is just a disappointment. One very clear example would be the match against Tottenham Last week,They came up with a very determined mentality and came out with 2 goals in the first half. And i Don't know why but they always get complacent to easily and that showed in the second half and that was followed by panic,Whenever the team lead get's cut they always will be at the back foot all of a sudden especially the defence. This was followed by a lost to unheralded Portuguese Side Braga which Shows that Arsenal are still far away from being what Man Utd so proudly hold.

Alright i did Say the team is strong enough but i still think they have to buy just a couple players in certain Area like the goalkeeper for example,I'm still not really sure with Fabianski as sometimes he looks confident and sometimes not and because of that Arsenal I think need to get another quality goalkeeper to back him up whenever he loses confidence.Another problem is the defence,I don't thik Koschielky was a good buy because he doesn't seem to be adapting to English Football.Even Djourou was better then him and partners Squallaci better,I think Koschielky is better off with Vermaelen who's injured which claimed to be one of the harms for Arsenal(Injuries).I think Vermaelen is the John Terry of Arsenal because with him The Defence was so much tighter and compose with his leadership. But one is not enough and i honestly think Arsene should get another guy like Vermaelen who can push a team on(Probably Like Gallas perhaps). So that at least they will have two leaders at the back to maybe be indestructible again!!!..No Promises :P

You can say Fabregas but his only a leader on the ball and not off the ball which reminds me,I don't think Arsenal really have a real enforcer in the team too.Since The Veiera's,Known's Arsenal haven't produced one.The team really looks weak in the defence at times and I think a Quality Enforcer purchased would be great to help out the defence when in trouble for Example Essien who is a perfect Example of a good Enforcer.I've seen games of him where he comes back and does a heck of a job of saving his team.

But one of the main problems which don't give the real confidence of them winning is the lack of Consistency in the team and also they talk to much after a win. This is something which i was taught to overcome since young. And right now for A club like Arsenal,I don't think this should be a problem but it is.Let me show you example of how this two comes about in the Arsenal Camp, remember the time Arsenal Trashed Man City?...Yeah and Do you remember the time Cesc Opened his mouth and said Arsenal could beat them no matter how many players they put and lost the next game against a weaker opponent?...Yeah and there you go,Both of that items combining. The game before Tottenham also was an example...

Seriously I think Arsenal Need to shut up when they get a massive win and not get over their head and just continue from where the started off because talking to much doesn't get a job done(A wise man told me)...And I think this little problems can be fixed and Arsenal will be on their way to be a big club again with Trophies to show off.Anyway just would like to give a heads up to Arsene who so brilliantly build a club of players with so little Money Involved,For me his one the best not only in coaching but scouting and I really think Arsenal should be thankful because in the coming years they Will Benefit as other spending clubs run into debt and Banks asking back for the money whereas Arsenal will still have a very strong financial foundation.Even with the Fans not really happy with him not Signing,I think he did a brilliant Job and Those signings will also come eventually. We just need to give him time and this Professor will whip up some magic. Not many teams have the privilege of getting a manager of his quality so Arsenal seriously should be grateful.Anyway to Conclude this Crap Essay,I think Arsenal WILL NAIL their first trophy in 5 years!!!!!!

On Man Utd Wayne Rooney's Return!

Well on the on field Aspect,I still think he was the same Rooney when he came on in the second half.Still low on Confidence and Mp Determination at all.He hardly even got a touch of the ball although he did have that one major chance but that was all from the Englishmen.I really expected him to be a changed man since that rehabilitation he had in the America and All that tons of money Man Utd gave which i think was just wasted,They could have given that money to charity or even save that money and buy a worthwhile player. So about the on field Aspect,I didn't really was won back by Rooney after his attitude towards the club which I'm still shock to see Alex Fergusan take that kindly.

And now the off field Aspect,That day around Monday to be exact.I took the liberty of Meeting a Man Utd,Liverpool and England Fan who are actually my friends(Well all three of them Are English fans and I neither support both the clubs)...And from the Man Utd i just got one shot Conclusion 'he sucks and i hate him'..Haha,that was all and i later ask how he could win back this Man Utd Fanatic(Warning he can kill if you make fun of his beloved team). He said all he wants his the form which Rooney had last season where he literally scored in every goal. The second one who was the liverpool fan said he was 'super happy with Rooney Performance and hopes he continues it' But there was a twist to the hate though. He didn't deny that Rooney could Join Liverpool though as he stated Rooney being a Liverpool born player was pining for his hometown and He would do Well For Liverpool(Oh yeah?)..I don't think it will ever happen...Not a chance..Seriously....:P....And Later i asked the England Fan(He didn't say which club he supported)...And all he wants Cappelo to do is never ever Include him the squad again because he hasn't even produce any results for England and has been A joke for the Team(Strong words?)...So yeah those were the results of asking them,No love shown at all although I'm Still a bit suspicious about the Liverpool supporter though..Overall it was a great talk with this guys,We later when and check out girls..Haha jokes :P.To bad they didn't wanna be named in the blog....

Well To Conclude the whole Thing,Rooney is hated by some(Well this guys hates him) And looks like only goals can change their perception. He could though Join liverpool and perform because of his pining for his Hometown(Never happening)...And also he is not wanted by A number of England Fans in the team(I asked others too)...Wow,Overall alot of improvement Rooney has to achieve to win back his fans. But no pressure on him though,I still think he will start performing once he get's back his mojo and His fans will surround him once again :)...

Oh what i Think of Rooney?...Well i basically concluded it With the last few sentences in the earlier paragraph. But Seriously,Although i wasn't to pleased with His Attitude not so far back but i think after that backlash of the fans and all might have well changed him into a better Man.

Managers Getting the boot for players Performances?

Something which i have been against forever since my love of football came around the corner. This is a problem which i don't think By Changing A manager will straight turn the team from a Relegation fighting team and straight away push them top a title chasing team.Well I know most you will be taking Owen Coyle for an example,But his different...He became Bolton's coach in the middle of Last season and he had so much pre season time to bond with them and also make a tactic which somehow Work. One example we can take from the disadvantages of changing a manager because of team Performances is the ever sad state of West ham,It looks like their season is already over.

They seem to not even care any more,I just can't find any team performing to their standard. While With Zola,Although the team didn't do to well but they still stayed in the league and yet they had a great bonding with the manager already so why sack him?And in fact now with Avram at helm they are doing worst...And the latest news i got was the sacking of their assistant Manager Zelkjo Petrovic which i think is just finding another reason to please the fans and trick them to think as if the club is going to improve by that move?...

One question that is also riding in my mine is why players of a team don't get sack?...Why is it so simple to sack a manager for bad team performances while players still get their full pay from the club. What i like to see is players also getting sack if they don't perform,It's not fair for a player to ask for more luxury and not perform(Rooney Example)...And i guess sometimes managers have to give in because of the clubs perhaps?...I don't know but i would really love to see that change and give the players that fear that they have to perform well and feel what it's like to be in a manager's shoes. One example is the attitude of the City's Players,They are paid so well and always turn to the manager if he makes a questionable decision and etc. They are players who are paid so much to perform top class no matter what the situation is...I know probably putting the player on free transfer looks like a sacking but they still get paid huge release clause from i heard.

What can be tested to is Players getting their wages cut,Alright probably my first recommendation i admit look abit 'outrageous' But this solution of cutting wages of players who perform under par looks fair. Why not?...You pay a player and he doesn't perform to what the club pays him just cut his wages. If I'm not wrong,I think Kolo Toure of Man City recommended this not to long time ago. It's same like an ordinary job,You don't perform well and you either get sack or wage cut.Football is also like a job for the players and i think it's not wrong do follow this step to push the players to not over pamper themselves and get down to it if they don't perform. And not Upgrade their wages if they show their attitude...I think you all know where i'm taking this ;)...

So overall,I don't think Managers will have to take the blame for all the clubs falls as his not the one playing but the players are.Maybe he does some good training regime but the players just don't implant it into the game whereas they do so well in training. What can he do?

Do Clubs Or Countries Deserve to Control A player..

With the Likes Of Steven Gerrard's Injury being the latest Controversy of Countries and Clubs. So who really Deserve to Control a player?...One obvious Answer is Definitely the Clubs Deserve to Control a player. Not only they pay the wages but also they are responsible of taking care of a Player's Welfare And i don't think Any country can just take a player like that without giving anything without the Guarantee that they will come back home In good shape.Steven Gerrard is like the heartbeat of Liverpool,And as we all already seen he has been pumping this team through this tough disappointing season. And To lose him just because of one meaningless friendly doesn't seem fair for A club.

This can also relate of Robin Van Persie For Arsenal who was doing all the scoring for Arsenal until he got injured on International Duty against an Italian side.Bringing back to the Gerrard Case,Unlike Van Persie who's agreement with club and country were not breach.I was very very disappointed with Fabio Cappelo who agreed to play Gerrard for 60 minutes at the end played him for an additional 25 minutes and what even frustrated me was he gave an excuse of Not having enough key players and He has the right to choose who to play...Then why did he accept the agreement at first?...Isn't that like a deal?...I don't know but that's the news that i got and if True i really hope Cappelo doesn't do that again because it just makes team hate you and perhaps Liverpool will not release the next time.

Now For the compensation,If i'm not wrong.I think Pulis made a Statement that all teams should be paid compensation for every player that plays for their country which i Truly support.Because it's Like Putting a player which the teams did so hard to mould on the line and compensation for their services should be put to test as that seems the best way.I Was really impress with England Though as they paid Liverpool Some Compensation but they only paid when he got Injured and that won't bring back a player.

For the Countries though, they will have to make sure the players are taken care as much as possible like at the clubs no matter how long. Not Only the clubs will show Respect to that certain national team but it also minimize the rate of Injuries and not breaching Agreements would also do wonders. So to my honest Opinion,I think if Clubs and National teams would not breach agreements and make sure the players are always on top of mark.I see a really good relationship tighten between Clubs And National teams...Isn't that the point of football anyway?...To Bring people together?..Well that's what i learnt it was back in my years of learning about this amazing game ;)

Carlo Ancelloti Quitting?...SO FALSE!

Time to calm down Blues fans,Those were just rumors fortunately...The Rumors came along though through an interview which Ancelloti brought up about Managers Like Alex Fergusan Taking control of the whole club while he only Is in charge of the Tactical and Tactics Area.Oh yeah here's a little fun fact which i found out.Open your Eyes!..Both Alex Fergusan and Arsene Wenger are arguably the only managers that control the club(How Interesting?Power crazy board who know nothing about on field :P)Another reason for the rumor must have been the sacking of his beloved friend Ray Wilkins who has been a long serving coach of the club already without any reasons which I Still think is disgraceful for a so called world class Board.

But there must have been some dude who wanted to make some scene made this up(It was fun though)...As Ancelotti came back with a real logical Wise dude talk.He said that his already happy with the power he has and having to much power gives more pressure and You wouldn't want that.Hmm,That was some wise words master!...So Chelsea peeps,Be happy that he isn't leaving because i got a 70% feeling Your going down without Him especially right after loosing Ray Wilkins. ;)...Which spells good news for everyone(How About Rafael Benitez For a Change?)

Well now abit of the Team's Performances,I Honestly think they will bounce back from this minor Hiccup once they get back their First Team players. One problem was that for about 4 years or more John Terry Have been playing like every game for them and suddenly to Lose such of a leader at the back really took Effect on them Which is like a kid loosing a stuff bear which he had since a babe plus without the Enforcer with the Likes of Essien in the team..Chelsea just don't seem balance for the time being but with the players back i think they will get back that consistency in the league which i think will be the closest in history ;)..With a top 4 winning for sure,I Don't think the teams like Newcastle And Tottenham really have that mentality to take them home when the season comes to an end.

Uefa Champions league Review Matchday 5 (23-24 Nov 2010)

23rd November 2010

The first set of matches Ended with such excitement and the excitements started all the way in Group E When Roma made a stunning recovery to defeat the Mighty Bayern team with 2 goals in 9 minutes to turn it around to put them within a point of the last 16.The other match were between Cluj And Basel with Basel taking home the three points to keep them in the hunt while it was Bye bye for Cluj.

In Group F,All the qualifiers have already been settled with Marseille and Chelsea going through.Marseille produce a sizzling performance to run out 3:0 winners against Spartak Moscow to take revenge from their 1:0 lost to them in the reverse fixture while Chelsea ran out 2-1 winners at home to MSK Zilina as second-half goals from Daniel Sturridge and Florent Malouda spared their blushes.Chelsea trailed to Babatounde Bello's shock 19th-minute opener for the Group F minnows, but Sturridge levelled six minutes after the break.Malouda then grabbed a vital winner for the English champions when he slotted home at the far post four minutes from time.Probably just giving the Underdogs some Determination?

Spanish Giants proved why they are one of the best clubs in the world as they still trashed Ajax 4:0 as they finished the game with only 9 men to End's Ajax Chances.Ronaldo getting on the score sheet twice to cap his importance to the club.Ac Milan were not assured of a spot before the game but after Real Madrid trashing Ajax plus a win for themselves.Group G also look to have confirmed their Last 16 entries.

In Group H,Arsenal suffered a shock Champions League 2-0 defeat to Sporting Braga at Estadio Municipal. The Gunners - beaten by rivals Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday - had been top of Group H and thrashed the Portuguese side 6-0 in their opening fixture. However, a much-changed side never hit top gear and were denied a penalty before Braga scored two late breakaway goals from Brazil striker Matheus, leaving Arsenal not yet certain of their place in the last 16.That win for Braga has just set the table wide open for second spot and their last game certainly they will be going all out in their last game.Arsene's wenger best team doesn't look to good. While Shaktar Donetsk look assured of a place unless with only an unlikely of results will sent them down to third as they defeated Win less Partizan 3:0 To put them up of the table

24th November 2010

In Group A,Inter Milan are through to the next round thanks to a single solitary goal By Esteban Cambiasso ten minutes after the restart of Second Half.Tottenham continue their fantasic debut in the Champions league by sealing a top 16 spot with a thumping 3:0 win against Wender Bremen. This comes right after a win less drought against london rivals Arsenal...

In Group B,It was just a matter out a run out for Lyon Against Schalke Though as they already Qualified. And that what they got as Schalke took full advantage to condemned them to a 3:0 Win to get that last ticket for a last 16 spot in this group.Klass Jan Hunterlaar on the score sheet Twice.Hapoel on the other hand recorded their first win in style with a same scoreline against Benfica to get the Europa spot.

In Group C,Rooney became Hero for Utd 3 minutes before the end with a well taken penalty to send the Scottish club to 3rd while Utd go through.Valencia were the other team through with a convincing 6-1 goal battering against Bursapor.

In Group D,Chirstian Nobao gave some hope to his Russian Club Kazan as he scored the only goal to record their first win in 6 attempts against Fc Copenhagen to keep the fire burning for Qualification. While it was an easy ride for Barcelona as two goals by Pedro and a goal by Messi was enough to send Panathinaikos out of the race and sealing their spot as group D winners

Review of English teams

Another disappointing day for Arsenal as Their Inconsistency is already starting to show with a unexpected 2:0 lost to Braga to force the tie till the last match.Whereas Chelsea also had a tough day before prevailing against Zilina who are considered Underdogs of this cup with only 4 minutes lefted..In the next day was more pleasing,With Tottenham again proving their European Quality by slaying Werder Bremen to go through the next round While Man Utd also are through with a tough 1:0 win as Rooney for the first time finally got his name of the score sheet with a calmly taken Penalty.

Androulla Vassiliou Vip Day Trip in England.

Did you all know that A Vip had a trip to See out England's Football and Also Arsenal Especially had the liberty of him coming?..Yeah i know it's old news for some but just wanna inform those who didn't know.Anyway this Lady is a VIP cause his like the guru In Europe for All Sports. So yeah his a kinda of a big mama in this sports Business. His Reason of coming?...Well because England's Football league is the Best in the freaking entire world!...Hmm not just joking,But the best in the league in the world thing was no joke ;)...Anyway the real reason She came around was to Discuss the EU'S new role in sport And The reason She visited Arsenal was to observe a number of Communiy programs held by the North London club.He should be quite shock enough to see how caring England really are cause i've seen some of their programs and gosh!..They are good!..They keep kids from drugs whereas they are doing it..How sweet...Lol jks

Anyway Jokes aside,The Commissioner Vassiliou's visit began with a meeting at the Premier League headquarters with chief executive Richard Scudamore. The pair discussed the Premier League's investment in good causes and commitment to delivering community programmes at home and abroad, such as the part EU funded 'Double Club' education project and Premier Skills, the League's overseas coach development scheme.

The meeting i Think proved Valuable as The FA Could discuss about the league's Interest in Europe specifically the way Intellectual Property rights underpin the ability of elite sports to invest in the grassroots, and the importance of freedom of movement of players within the EU.So I think The Women's Visit would be worthwhile after all! :)...She just have to remember this though,'Premier league is the best league in the world' And bam it's settled...

Oh yeah Time to the Arsenal's Story,As i Said earlier the Commissioner has been observing the Club's Numerous Community programmes including the Future Jobs Fund, a programme run by Arsenal in partnership with the Department for Work and Pensions, and an Arsenal Double Club language class for local school children.

The Commissioner was joined by Arsenal New chief executive Ivan Gazidis(Well Fairly new) at Elthorne Park to observe Arsenal's Gap Year programme, a scheme that gives gap year students the chance to earn coaching qualifications via the club's community department and overseas soccer schools.(OMG,So cool!)..And Since a Women of such power was there,Ivan Gazidis took that opportunity to discuss with the Commissioner about the work the Club put in to underline the Commitment the club put in with Community Projects and Youth Development.

And At the end?..Well it looks like everyone was happy with Premier League Chief Executive, Richard Scudamore admitting his was really happy that the Commissioner visited the Premier league and Arsenal For hosting some of the most excellent community Scheme's(Now,where's their tip?)...What was important is that the Commissioner was happy,he took his time to congratulate The Premier league and Arsenal for their dedicated work in giving back to the society through their support of Educational and Social projects Sport - and football in particular - has an unrivaled capacity to act as a catalyst for social change.

So yeah overall it was a great visit,For those who don't really understand Arsenal's Community Scheme thing.Let me Explain,They have became a part of the Community by serving a variety of education, sport, social inclusion, charitable and global initiatives. And this Scheme has reached over a million people in 25 years. And the main cause of this is to show their responsibility and Commitment that are Indeed a big club which have a heart towards serving the Community(Something like Unicef I Suppose?..)..Anyway it's great to see Women into the sport In Europe,I rarely a girl kicking a ball in my town :P

Man Utd Vs Wigan Review 20/11/10

The guys in Red have met the Latics for a Total of 10 times,10 Very forgettable times for Wigan though as out of that 10 games. Two games have ended with a 5-0 mauling and with 3 goals average per game.Man Utd have hit the back of the net for 31 times so expect a tough mauling for the Man in Blue and white. For Wigan though we can expect them to have a quiet time at Man Utd Goal with only 4 goals scored plus it looked like even the premier league stats don't seem pleasing as they are the league's lowest Scorers.

And if that wasn't the worst,Their Nemesis Wayne Rooney who has scored 9 goals in 11 games against them was back in the squad after a rehabilitation at the USA But he was a reserve with Macheda and Obertan leading the Charge. But as usual,Man Utd started the more gentler and Wigan almost paid them off with a chance by Nzgobia. All seemed to be under control for Wigan leading to the first half. But Man Utd showed them a little of why your defence must never go to sleep as a cross By Park Ji Sung late in the half was headed in brilliantly by The Unlikely Evra who scored his second goal in 147 appearances for the Men in Red.

With the lead,Alex still brought on The So called 'Secret Weapon' When 12 minutes into the second half Rooney was brought on for Macheda who didn't seem effective at all playing in the first 11.Rooney surprisingly receive a mix Reception of Cheers and boos which was a surprise for me at least.I expected all boos only. But being Rooney,Well the newer Rooney...He again didn't seem to be on his form as he was lacking that agility which took him so high.He barely even have a kick at the ball or touch(I think) as The Home side advantage took an even better route as Alvarez(The captain of Wigan) Was sent off for a second bookable offense which i think was Harsh.Minutes later,Rodallega got sent off on a straight red card. Now that I had nothing to say as that lunge had no meaning in it even though it was not malicious. It was a blow For Martinez who even before he could reshuffle after the sending of Alcarez had to receive another player of the field.Numerical was on Man Utd Side,And soon Rooney had the chance to Shine with A cross By Rafael to him was superbly tipped over by Al Habsi.

Rafael was soon enjoying life at the right side as Wigan's Numerical advantage didn't allow them even close him down and that soon penetrated when a Cross by him superbly headed by Chicharito Who doesn't seem to lose his improvisation with his head to make it a 2:0 Lead.Wigan were just waiting for the final whistle to go and Chicharito almost made it his 5th goal of the season when Again Rafael Crossed but He missed an open goal though it seems Nani got that faint touch to put him off.And in the final Minutes,Man Utd had one final go with Scholes trying a long range shot which deflected to Evra who had the goal at his mercy but struck it wide.

To conclude the game,I don't think Macheda And Obertan are really good enough to step up for the first 11 just yet although i Still think they will be great super sub.Well i also expected Utd to score more goals with 2 men more but That's Utd..They rather just get the job done unlike other top teams i've seen in the league. They have been not consistent but we got to remember the other top teams aren't too and they are still unbeaten so that shows that they are not doing a bad job.One more thing i would like to point out is the Low on confidence By Rooney as i expected him to be a better form man after the reconditioning but he just look the same. And About The Berbatov not being in the squad,I guessed that he was being rested for the Uefa champions league game?...Nevertheless,A great win for Utd to put them back at it with same points with Chelsea
