Team of the week (Week 13th )

This has come abit late but oh well,Time for my team of the week for the week of 13th where the most humiliating result was created,And that was Chelsea who haven't let in a single goal at home this season lost to Sunderland an amazing 3:0 scoreline to burst the title chase wide open. And also we can't forget The pressure on Mancini now after another Disappointing Draw against Birmingham this time,But well it's all about time. And Arsenal showing that potential they have by beating the first club in 8 games to defeat Everton at Goodison park.So that was a short review. To the real deal now:

GK:Lukasz Fabianski(Arsenal)-He once again performed to make it a second successive wonder performance by The Polish Custodian.Just about Two Months ago he was known as Flop but he has done so well to get over the criticism to once again guide the team to a win with some superb saves to deny a short spell of shots by Beckford,Saha And Pienaar.

RB:Nedum Onuoha(Sunderland)-A player that made me open my mouth on Sunday for the first time without grub entering it when he scored a superb solo effort goal to skip pass two players and clipping pass the keeper for the first goal of the game. Not only that but he did well in his defence duties too.Man city will certainly miss him now. Finally the first player this season to score for Sunderland..Who's not A Striker!

CB:Ryan Shawcross(Stoke)-Worked hard to get a indispensable spot in the team which probably was overdone as he was called up by England probably cause the England manager saw and was superbly impress with his strength that broke Ramsey's Leg and England were weak in the defence so that must have been the reason.Never mind that aside,After being out for the mid week game through Suspension. He came back to control a ever returning Torres to help his team keep a valuable clean sheet and all three points.

CB:Nemanja Vidic(Man Utd)-Possibly the only defender in the Man Utd squad that day that really made a contribution. He played well enough with some clean defending although he was clearly outpaced by Villa's Attackers and also scored the all important goal to equalize the game to prove his deciveness in Air.A very important backbone for the team in my books.

LB:Andy Wilkinson(Stoke City)-Another player which contributed to the clean sheet kept by The Stoke team.Especially his marking on Maxi Rodriguez in where he had the Argentinan in his back pocket the whole time.An Assured performance by the regular Starter

RW:Samir Nasri(Arsenal)-His pace was once again a treat to the defenders and his consistency and improvement will certainly be a great boost to Arsenal. He is much a different player compared to last season and hopefully he continues it to push Arsenal for the title chase. His passing was something like Cesc who used to overshadow him but now Nasri looks to be shining on his own.

MC:Lee Cattermole(Sunderland)-I expected him to be kicking the midfielders in the middle of the park and that is what he exactly did.Gave great confidence in the team to attack as he didn't put a wrong foot in his defensive part. Probably the chelsea players would have gone home all bruised up thanks to him :P

LW:Stewart Downing(Aston Villa)-A superb Crosser in the wings,He gave problems in the whole game for United with His Crosses with one of them actually being an Assist to Teammate Albrighton.Teams with bad Defending of Aerial and Crosses are warned to close him down before he lets his sweet kicking foot rip.

FW:Danny Welbeck(Sunderland)-What a performance by the Man Utd loanee as his performance would certainly be enough to pursue Man Utd to Keep him.His pace was just to much for the older legs of the chelsea's Defenders and the absence Of Terry made it Worst.Scored a deserving goal although it was kinda of lucky with Cole making a bad back pass but no thanks to the keeper though as he could have scored more.Great outing for the player,That will be a huge boost to his confidence.

FW:Victor Moses(Wigan)-He was tipped a 'wonderkid' in my football management game and looks like games can be right at times as He came on as a sub and did superbly to show maturity and composure to get a goal for himself to further stake his claims for first team
