Man Utd had the chance to cut Chelsea's lead at the top to a mere couple of points but it won't come in easy though against a side known to make a hard time for the top teams but usually lose due to late late slack defence.Will they finally end that trend and disappoint Man Utd?They already had made a shocking result by beating big money spenders Man City,Will they bring thier form back and condemned another Manchester Club for the second successive week?.This was also Sir Alex Fergusan's 24th Anniversary with the club and a Win would do wonders for him.And it was a special day for someone too,With Owen Hargreaves being the surprise Inclusion in the starting line up thus making his first appearance since 2008 or perhaps 2 May but that was like in the 93rd minute.It was good to see the man who did so well for Bayern before moving to Man Utd back in Action again.
Sir Alex Fergusan also made 4 changes to the side Including Hargreaves that defeated Spurs with Both Defenders Vidic and Evra starting although they had a virus but who could blame Alex?...Obertan who did will in his first champions league start was also given the go in place of the still Injured Nani.Mick Mccartney Named an Unchanged side from the team that shocked Man City last week with Former Man Utd Trainee Slyvain Ebanks Blake again starting from the bench.Wolves will he hoping to end a barren run of 4 straight Away defeats and how ever better it could be if they defeat Man Utd for their first time taking back to 30 years.
Man Utd like always when they don't have a full strength team started of slow.Without Nani seems to be a problem for them as his like the 'Cesc Fabregas' for the team as they lack the speed and creativity without him and the aging stars of Scholes and Giggs not playing wouldn't do any good as Fergusan named a relatively young side.But into the first 5 minutes,It was a sad scene to see as Owen Hargreaves game ended after his first real kick of the game when he kicked the ball with the outside of his boot.Biggest signing of the pre season Bebe Came on for him.Hope The English Lad get's better soon as Man Utd will really benefit from his defensive experience.
At that slow start almost Backfired as Once again the lack of speed by the Man Utd Defenders pose a problem as Wolves capitalizes with Ferdinand under pressure and a poor pass ended up back to Doyle and back to Milijas who made a powerful shot at goal which deflected of Vidic and just out by a whisker with the keeper Van der sar already down on the ground.It was an even match with no real treats as Wolves look to be sympathetic For Hargreaves as they didn't even get into Man Utd Half after that.
Just three minutes before the end,Wolves again gave a fright when Matt Jarvis sent in a delightful cross but just out of the way of the Advancing Hunt and practically everyone else as it harmlessly when out for a goal kick.Just as it was going to end all square in a disappointing First half with Man Utd totally being outclassed so far.A Defence splitting pass by Fletcher into the Path Of park Who made a great first touch and the second touch even better to get an undeserved lead at the break.Park Once proving that they don't need Nani in the team all the time.Poor defending by the wolves Defence as they didn't detect Park.To bad Park Isn't English as Cappelo was in the Stands watching this game haha.
Second half had more chances but it was even worst of a finishing then the earlier half with Bebe making an embarrassing shot and Hernandez shotting closer to the corner flag then goal.Realizing Wolves were having a tough time at attack,Mccartney introduced Profilic goal scorer Ebanks Blake And Record Signing Steven Flecther on for Hunt And Edwards.
And that move paid Dividends as the man who scored so many goals for Wolves last season was on hand to take control of the ball leaving Vidic flat footed and he had all the time to get his footing right to slam the ball through Van Der Sar's Goal to give Cappelo a though or two do name this guy probably.Later in the game,Steven Fletcher had probably the best chance of the game when he had the ball about 7 yards from goal but his finishing didn't show the amount Wolves paid Burnley for him when it when into into the orbit and 3 points chance just wasted.
Man Utd continued pushing forward,Getting a draw was not an option as this draws have already prevented them from taking top spot even though they are the only team undefeated and out of nowhere out came Park who seemed to be tightly sealed by the Wolves Defence but he somehow managed to dance his way through the Wolves Defence who could have done better and released a snap shot into the near post of the keeper who i don't think even saw Park looking at the amount of players in front of him in the 93rd minute.And yet another Late goal conceded by the Wolves team.Mccartney was absolute livid after that goal but we gotta salute his patience though.I would have gone berserk and strangled all of them!...Lol Jokes...Anyway great win and brilliant Performance By Park...ASIAN PRIDE! Haha..So three points to cut Chelsea's lead to two points.Looks who's talking about 'ambition' now rooney?...Wasn't that ambition?While you gotta feel sympathy for Wolves who are still second from bottom with two points above West Ham.
