Everton Vs Arsenal Review

Everton's crest VSRed shield with large gold cannon below the word "Arsenal" in white letters. Thin white and blue stripes line the shield's left and right edges.
Arsenal Traveled to the City of Liverpool where they met Everton who's home has pretty much been a fortress for them as they have been unbeaten in 7 games. But don't forget that Arsenal Away's form has been pretty good too,Probably better then their home!Arsene Wenger made a few changes with the team that faced a determined Wolves Side just Three days Ago with Rosicky being on the bench again and Arshavin taking his place.Chamakh who has been in great form should be a treat to Everton's Defence With Cesc Whipping in the balls and Nasri Fast feet.Oh yeah Bendtner who showed his 'Temper' that day for not getting enough first team football feel on deaf ears as he was not on the team,But later it was said he had a groin injury According to Arsene Wenger. With Arsenal Trashing Everton at the same Stadium with a 7:0 trashing last season's Opener. What will happen this time?

And as expected,Everton were the first to worry the gunners as The 'Kangaroo Men' Made an excellent header but it went just wide which shows Arsenal's Lack in Aerial Quality and Marking. But it soon changed wind as Arsenal Dominated the game and Everton made the choice to play Aggressively Especially Heitinga who i though was a flop in the defence his tackling timing was all out and he got a yellow card so early in the match that he was taken off at the start of the second half with Rodwell coming on.Wilshire who i think had a slight knock was also taken off with Denilson Coming on.

I think the Whole Arsenal team showed that quality they need to win the cup this time so yeah hopefully they will get a shot this year.Because i honestly think right now they have the right amount of mental and determination to succeed and not winning anything this season wouldn't be good for this team.It was great to seem trying long shots too which i haven't seen for a long time with Arshavin and co trying and it finally paid off As Nasri cut through to the middle to unleash a 20 metre strike which was pushed away and Fabregas got the interception and I think Sagna wasn't sure if he wanted the ball if you really look at his body language *laughs*.But Fabregas had no where else to go and fed it to The French Defender who miss led the ball into the top corner of the near post of Howard to score his second goal for the club,If i have not mistaken his last goal was in March 2008 against Chelsea?..And if i'm right that means 105 games,900 days and 3 Minutes?...Wow that's a long time ago and it was just pure ecstasy for him.So Arsenal When into the break with a Slender lead but i don't Think Everton will be happy with Webb as some Decisions would go harsh for them with Pieneer being fouled just outside the box and Ball going out even it wasn't but fair play to Fbianski as he saved it.Another player i have good critics on.

Denilson who came on For Wilshire in the second half didn't lay back as his driving run to the opposing box and it wne to Fabregas who was tightly marked but some creative slick passing between him and Chamakh(Typical Arsenal play) To fine the tightest of space for Fabby to let rip a low stiff shot to make it 2:0.That goal didn't seem to wake Everton up as Arsenal almost Made it three when Fabby again struck the ball cross goal and Chamakh only had to tap it into an open goal but it flew over the bar. That was so unlike him but Arsenal can forgive him i guess :)

Just a short while later though Everton were left Fustrated again as Arsenal's Sebastian Squilacci Was seemingly Looked to have stop Saha from a goal scoring Oppurtunity but Referee just gave a yellow card but i don't think that infuriated the Fans because Sheamus got the ball and put it into goal so possibly it was because there was no advantage.Sheamus the upcoming talent from Everton was one of the real treats for the Arsenal's Back four and his speed almost led to a goal as his low cross was connected by Rodwell but the Ball wasn't a treat.

As it hit the 60th minute mark,Arsenal almost made it game over for Everton when a blistering run by Nasri was not dealt well by Jagielka but No thanks to Howard who made a great save by opening up his body terrificly.

Moyes didn't like what he was seeing as Everton were not even attacking and even they have an attack,it was wasteful. There was also one time when they had a possession of 15% Only with the rest going to Arsenal.Which literally sum up Everton's day.But Moyes knowing They still had a chance brought on some attacking influence with Beckford and Yakubu coming on which made it a triple Attack. But it didn't make a difference as i don't even think They strikers got the ball for the first 15 minutes. With Arsenal putting of their surge at goal(As usual)...Everton suddenly got their stride in the last ten minutes,It was Beckford who first tested Fabianski who made a great stop,Then Pienaar sent a huge missile into his hands and not so long later Saha had a shot but Fabianski again showing his Improvement by making a acrobatic save. That was like his only first set of saves of the game.Saha's shot won a corner and Arsenal who suck in Aerial were left to pout as Saha knocked it back into the middle and Cahill had the easiest of task of slotting it in point blank.

And as usual again,Arsenal failed to kill the game and were left with an agonizing 4 minutes stoppage time with Everton throwing everything With Eboue Being brought on for Chamakh to add some defensive tightness but at the end Arsenal's prevailed to keep track of the first spot while Everton still bottom half.I think Fabianski deserved the man of the match as he made some good saves to keep Arsenal's 2 goal cushion.I think he will continue to be number one if he don't get big headed and continue to want to improve.Good Job Arsenal.
