Player and Manager of the Month(Oct 2010)

Rafael van der Vaart has made a huge impact at Tottenham

It was the end of another sizzling month full of big exciting games and after some evaluation it was Rafael Van Der Vaart of Tottenham who won the player of the month while David Moyes won The manager of the month award.Rafael Van Der Vaart was a transfer deadline signing by Spurs who probably were not in time to sign him but somehow they were by just a few minutes. And he has repaid them with a string of great performances and more importantly goals in where he has came up with 3 goals and an assist in October which is a good record by any players standard.

Everton remarkable form of 10 points from a possible 12 was enough to name Moyes as the Coach of the month.Moyes who has taken Everton to great heights since his arrival in 2002 but the lack of funds has been a significant problem in him building a strong team.Everton beat Liverpool, birmingham and Stoke before drawing their last game of the month against Tottenham Where Coincidentally Van Der Vaart Scored. It's an amazing 8th time he won the award and 3rd in 2010 which just shows How Talented this man is and how lucky Everton are to have him. Both teams are in action mid week with Tottenham hoping to end their losing run with a win against Sunderland while 24 hours later Everton will be entertaining Bolton who defeated Tottenham 4-2 in the weekend. So both teams will be having tough assignments,I wish all teams good luck!
