History has not been on Tottenham's side though as the last time they beat Arsenal takes them all the way to 1993 which means 17 years of defeats they want to forget and this was the time to prove as Tottenham earlier stated they will make the Victory against Arsenal back in April at home to pumped up themselves which was also their first victory over Arsenal in a Decade. The Handshakes between the clubs at The start of the match saw Samir Nasri refusing to shake hands with former Teammate William Gallas as they had a few quarrels back in International duty. But one person who certainly didn't get up the wrong side of the bed was Thierry 'King' Henry who was in the stands rooting his team on in where he played a massive role in Tottenham's win less spell against them.
Arsenal made two changes to their side with Denilson and just coming back from Suspension Koschielky coming in for the Injured Wilshire and Djourou Respectively.Tottenham made only one chance with Lennon coming back to the starting 11 to make his 150th appearance for the team and Crouch dropped to heat up the seats together with Defoe who just came back from Injury.
And 'WHAT' a game it turned out to be as Arsenal were of a dominant force with some slick passing which reminded us why they were just so amazing with Fabregas once again the Composer of the passing's and even Gallas seemed not to be able to cope with the passings and before i could really get into the game A Fantastic curling passing with the outer Foot by Fabby broke the napping defence and Nasri first touch was poor but showed great determination to get back to it to round the keeper who i though should have done better and scoring at the tightest of angles to make it 1:0 in just the 8th minute of play. The player who has been a hot property this season showing why he is really the men to watch.A play which reminded me why i love Football.
Arsenal didn't hold back and it was like every attack was going to be a goal as again the passing play by Arsenal were just superb. They opened up play so well with their placings and all it was just magical and before anything it was suddenly 2:0 formed by another quick interchanges of passes which led to Arshavin who made a great low cross into the box which was connected superbly by Arsenal's best buy so far Maroune Chamakh for I think his 6th goal of the season in the lead.It seemed like a whitewash for Tottenham and i was like already reading the newspaper while the game was going on(I'm serious)...And well nothing interesting after that in the first half as Arsenal comfortably when into the break with a commanding lead as Arsenal's defence weren't much tested.
But they didn't know what was about to hit them in the second half as Tottenham decided to put on Two Strikers and what a huge difference it made as Defoe runs was abled to split the much controversial Arsenal's Defence who haven't been solid without the leadership of Vermaelen and all of a sudden by newspaper session was over as it was turning out to be the opposite this time with Tottenham pushing at Arsenal's Door and were soon rewarded.I don't know what is Koshielky doing at the back as i don't think his partnership with Squallaci isn't even effective. That was like the first attack of Tottenham and they scored thanks to brilliant run by bale to slot it into goal.To be honest Djourou does better off then Koschielky but i think this is just Wenger trying to get money worth.Probably one of the worst buys of Wenger in his 14 years at Arsenal. And no this isn't his best team in 14 years,He should just shut up and coached.I realize whenever they talk..they lose?...So why not talk and just play...
Second goal for Tottenham soon came if you saw Arsenal's Messy play. They were just all over the place and Song i think he had no choice but to bring down His man on the edge of the area. And one of the most craizest acts i've seen by an Arsenal player happen. As Van Der Vaart shot his free kick,Cecs Simultaneously carried his Arm and well it did hit his arm and it was a penalty.I don't even know what he was thinking of doing that as I think Fabianski got that covered(Looking at his past Performances). And Well up stepped the on form Dutchman to Pounce on the second goal and it was turning into a nightmare for Arsenal.
Arsenal did seem to have woken up from second goal,And on step Van Persie for the Second half Disappointing Chamakh. And the dutchman did almost make some impact but it was a curler by Cesc at first which was brilliantly saved By Gomes and From the Corner Arsenal got back the ball which was swung in poorly to Van Persie and His cross was a peach to find Koschielky who was unmarked at the back of the post but he unbelievably headed it over.Squallaci might have scored.Arsenal also had a goal by the Big Frenchmen but indeed he was offside from a freekick.
And that seemed to be the last of their chances and Soon After Tottenham Dominated again,And Arsenal had no other Choice but to Bring on Rosicky and Walcott to add some speed and agility but it made no differences at all as they were always on the back foot.Tottenham though even had the cheek of bringing some fear into Arsenal by introducing Giant man Peter Crouch soon after.I think Arsene Wenger should play two Men Up Front like back in the days because i Don't think Chamakh is really that effective up there on himself.
But enough with Recommendations,3 goal looked to be on the rise for Tottenham and they got it just like that,Laurent tackling Bale and getting a yellow card for the team which seemed to be a big mistake when Rafael crossed it And Kaboul getting to it to end the amazing run to grab all three points to frustrate Arsene once again which he did show by trowing the bottle he was drinking from on the ground.I think Arsenal really need some good defenders because i don't think there good and they main downfall is the man at the back.Koschielky i think just isn't good enough and Fabianski i think he will be a great fight to any new keeper that comes in cause right now he hasn't got any competition and you need competition to constantly improve.
