55-man shortlist for the FIFPro World XI 2010

As many as 50,000 Footballers belonging to he union across the world were ask to vote a Goalkeeper,4 Defenders,3 Midfielders and 3 strikers For the year Of 2010.And the result was a 55 man shortlist which features Spain with the most Count of players in the list with 10,Followed by Brazil who has 9,Eight From Argentina,England With a surprise 6 players,Four From Germany,Three from Holland And Italy each,Two From Portugal and one each from Uruguay, Wales, France, Bulgaria, Serbia, the Czech Republic, Sweden, Ghana, the Ivory Coast and Cameroon.

Well that was the count of players from a certain Country,While if we count the nominees based on the league their in.This is the overall,The Spanish league again with the most Nominess with 18,English premier league a close second with 17 players,Italian league with 15,German league has 4 players while the French league only has 1.

The final World XI will be announced at the Fifa Ballon d'Or gala in Zurich on 10th January.Well below are the short man list(Doesn't look short to me) And all the players from England will be in bold so it wouldn't be hard for you crazy Premier league addicts ;)..Enjoy!

Not a very Surprising list based on the players from the English league,The only real surprise is Tottenham's Young prodigy Gareth Bale though as he just came up to light and he has already made the grade to be in this list(Really Impressing!)
