Something which i have been against forever since my love of football came around the corner. This is a problem which i don't think By Changing A manager will straight turn the team from a Relegation fighting team and straight away push them top a title chasing team.Well I know most you will be taking Owen Coyle for an example,But his different...He became Bolton's coach in the middle of Last season and he had so much pre season time to bond with them and also make a tactic which somehow Work. One example we can take from the disadvantages of changing a manager because of team Performances is the ever sad state of West ham,It looks like their season is already over.
They seem to not even care any more,I just can't find any team performing to their standard. While With Zola,Although the team didn't do to well but they still stayed in the league and yet they had a great bonding with the manager already so why sack him?And in fact now with Avram at helm they are doing worst...And the latest news i got was the sacking of their assistant Manager Zelkjo Petrovic which i think is just finding another reason to please the fans and trick them to think as if the club is going to improve by that move?...
One question that is also riding in my mine is why players of a team don't get sack?...Why is it so simple to sack a manager for bad team performances while players still get their full pay from the club. What i like to see is players also getting sack if they don't perform,It's not fair for a player to ask for more luxury and not perform(Rooney Example)...And i guess sometimes managers have to give in because of the clubs perhaps?...I don't know but i would really love to see that change and give the players that fear that they have to perform well and feel what it's like to be in a manager's shoes. One example is the attitude of the City's Players,They are paid so well and always turn to the manager if he makes a questionable decision and etc. They are players who are paid so much to perform top class no matter what the situation is...I know probably putting the player on free transfer looks like a sacking but they still get paid huge release clause from i heard.
What can be tested to is Players getting their wages cut,Alright probably my first recommendation i admit look abit 'outrageous' But this solution of cutting wages of players who perform under par looks fair. Why not?...You pay a player and he doesn't perform to what the club pays him just cut his wages. If I'm not wrong,I think Kolo Toure of Man City recommended this not to long time ago. It's same like an ordinary job,You don't perform well and you either get sack or wage cut.Football is also like a job for the players and i think it's not wrong do follow this step to push the players to not over pamper themselves and get down to it if they don't perform. And not Upgrade their wages if they show their attitude...I think you all know where i'm taking this ;)...
So overall,I don't think Managers will have to take the blame for all the clubs falls as his not the one playing but the players are.Maybe he does some good training regime but the players just don't implant it into the game whereas they do so well in training. What can he do?
