A week with arguably the most shocks to date in one week which means it was an 'EPIC WEEK'..This week we saw the famous North London Derby where the cities of Haringey and Aslington would have a little Colony war(Literally!) for a couple of days or more if things can abit rough ;)....This was also the week which we would see if Chelsea bounce back and not receive a back to back defeat since 100 over games ago.Man Utd could prove that they are indeed title credibility with a good solid win at Wigan boosted by the Return Of Rooney.Liverpool were on the harder end of things though as they had to go against an already depleted West Ham Side without Their Influential Star Steven Gerrard while Bolton chase for top 4 continues with more tough challenges when the Introduce Newcastle to their Backyard.Man City also had some hard times on their back especially Mancini who had to get the results and it was no easy road this week as they faced Fulham who have had a good reputation at home
Other then that,We had straightforward fixtures with Blackpool welcoming a Wolves side who haven't been having the right amount of Luck on their Side as Late conceded goals and Late Comebacks which deemed to late haven't been helping them.Blackburn Rovers who recently were bought up by a couple Of Indian Millionaires to once again knock one club lesser that are Chaired by Englishmen against An Aston Villa side who snapped up Arsenal's Legend Robert Pires on a Free Transfer.West Brom on the other hand faced a bouyant Stoke side who defeated Liverpool last Week to snatch their Second Straight win and the Last Game of the week was played On a midweek with Sunderland dashing Everton's chances of getting a win to bounce back.
And well the match of the week has had to be the London Derby between Arsenal and Tottenham who battled out at the Emirates stadium. And as expected, what a result it was as Arsenal who were leading 2:0 at halftime crumbled all so suddenly at second half and once again showing their defence frailties with Tottenham scoring of A Bale run,Second goal was stupid because As Van Der Vaart shot a freekick Fab instantly lifted his arm and they were in the box to give Tottenham another soft penalty.Arsenal were all around from there although they did have some chances when it was square with a curler By Cesc and Open header by Koschielky. But With Tottenham's Relentless attacking,It was expected victory and soon enough it became true with Kaboul snatching a late header off from a Van Der Vaart freekick to snatch a memorable victory for Spurs.
The Second was a bigger shocker as Chelsea were beaten by an average Birmingham side although Chelsea had the better of chances but No thanks to the keeper who made super stops which i accounted to 9 and one stop especially that should be nominated for 'Save of the season' and he was English! If he only he performed as well as he did with England.Chelsea though proving they need The leadership of Terry and the defensive help of Essien in the team as the defence placing where all out which led to the first and only goal by Bowyer.
Blackpool again grabbing another Valuable three points this time against Wolves who again got a lifeline by Doyle but it was just to late to grab another defeat while Bolton kept their jam on with convincing win against Newcastle to continue their terrorizing form which have brough them to the top 6 so early in the season which possibly could be attributed to Coyle's style of Short passing which is more liking to the deadly pair of Davies and Elmander.Man Utd Broke the League race wide open with a solid win against Wigan which saw the introduction of Rooney back into the team from the bench.Liverpool handed another disappointing day for West Ham as they still stick at the bottom of the table without any single revival(Well so far i've seen)...And Stoke kinda stunning me with a 3-0 goal margin win against A West Brom side who before this have gone up to great heights to challenge the top 4.
ON Sunday,Even the introduction of Pires in the second half couldn't prevent Aston Villa from loosing at Blackburn Rovers with Morten Pedersen on form to score both of the goals in the game.Man City also had a joyous day for the first time in a long time with a convincing 4-1 win over Fulham with Tevez being inspiring form.
On Monday, the last game of the week saw once again the Ever growing teenager Danny Welbeck scoring an amazing two goals which seemed to grab headlines but it was not enough when Arteta grabbed a late goal to salvage a draw.Cahill earlier took Everton into the lead.
