Well it was first The Kuyt Against Sunderland goal,And it was a pretty long time before once again the referee is in the middle of a controversy again and it's regarding Mike clattenburg controversially letting in what suppose to be a free kick and wow he is really getting famous with his controvesial calls with the last 'famous' one being the 40 yard lob by Pedro Mendes which keeper Carrol fumbled into the net and pushed it out again although it was a foot in in 2005.And well i would like to summarize That Mike didn't show the sense of power and control in that situation on that day.It look like to me that he assume that the players Understood that he gestured the game to play on whereas you could clearly see practically everybody on the field assume otherwise that the game has stop and with the linesmen frantically putting his flag up added to the confusion of everyone and even me.He seemed confused and also the Main man who was just strutting his shoulders as if his not part of the game.It was clear lack of communication between officials and It was more bizarre to see him to walk to the Middle of the field and gesturing to himself it was a goal and it was clear that he was in the world of his own that time.
He then went to speak with his linesmen and what he said?...I don't know but certainly would have loved to know cause the Asst Ref looked to have a decision of his own and i don't know how but Out of no where i saw Rio Ferdinand barging himself in the conversation which i think is a NO-NO like a mere 20 seconds while The Tottenham Players couldn't even let out their views to him earlier for a mere second so yeah that is one problem which the referee should have avoided. And what was strange was i don't know but the linesmen to put up his flag in that sought of gesture as if he ruled out that goal and suddenly following suit with Mark's decision was certainly very very strange.
And gosh to me,It's a real crazy goal to score which sometimes has the factor of spoiling the name of this beautiful goal and what was even disgracing was Nani going about celebrating after rubbing his hands over the ball and lying on the ground and showing his tantrum like a kid who didn't get a pokemon collectible card pack and later doing a somersault. And it was disappointing to see Mark's Performance today as if i'm not wrong in his last game he officiated between Man City And Arsenal was a joy to behold. He showed that power,no nonsense and bossy in the game, but today it was not present in him in that particular situation. And In my honest opinion,I think that since everyone was confuse and all.He Should have saved his butt by stopping the play and giving a free kick to Tottenham.
I will post a video up later of that controversy but back to the referee's during the part when The Asst looked like he was sure in what he saw when Gomes and Akotto were indeed complaining that Nani did touch the ball and you could clearly see the lips of the asst saying 'I know' and Mr clattenburg was running to him and i was pretty sure he would have been saying he saw Nani Handle it but i Am just guessing that probably Mark then cut in and Said Gomes was already handling and an Advantage was given?...Hmm,That is just a guess but that what made the Asst follow the decision. So i think the Asst should have stand up to his feeling cause he was nearer to the area.
Oh well,Probably Man Utd fans who read this would probably will not agree with me and say 'oh it was a fair play' But it just didn't seem fair to me in my perspective. And now Harry Redknapp is in trouble of being fine by the FA for his comments on the Controversy?..I don't think it's right, suddenly Manager's have lost the right to speak their mind and just go around like nothing happen and act like mindless dummies?...Well alright if it was a real bad comment,But it didn't seem to me,He was just speaking your mind.Well alright probably he made the comment that the ref's were going to make up their story and stuff..Fine that abit harsh but the rest sound ok.
Well i Absolutely understand his gesture,Well we got certain people would be thinking 'ahh it's fine just shake it off it's over'..But hey wait a minute?...Every goal in football is important,If that goal was ruled out Tottenham would still be a goal down and maybe with few minutes left they would a different mentality to power forward to get the spoils from the game but no when the second goal went it.Bye bye it's all over.So yeah Harry would for sure be Heart broken and this days it's really difficult to get manager's like him speaking his mind with The Fa looks like they are always ready to whip the crack at them.
So Actually manager's would be talking crap instead of what's in their heart and that interview will be all a lie so if can i love that to change. They say people don't like and bam they screw themselves.Hmm abit unfair i suppose?..Oh yeah what i would like to hear for a long time already is what the ref's have to say.I don't think there have been a ref post match interview before so yeah that would be so great,And then we can get the truth out and people will go back with a better understanding cause till now even i don't actually understand what actually happen. They are the most important guys in the match so why not?..Just tell what actually happen and why they let the goal through,It would be enough even if nobody likes it.But it's when they go home without a word and whispering to each other on the pitch with their hand covering their mouth is when the word 'Conspiracy' might accidentally come out.
And also making the managers and everyone of the losing party and making them let out their opinions to the press either then the 'no comment' statement cause that isn't the true feelings in them.Cause certainly the ref's got time to talk among themselves and make a conclusion since all of them are in one dressing room(Are there?)...So nevertheless,The Conclusion is ref's got to be understand clearly to not come around with this controversy anymore.
Anyway here's the video of the controversy..what you guys think?
